A sentimental return after 30 years for me, a first for my wife. We were pleased with this old- reliable place and its helpful staff. Now a little worn from time and service, but still a great value. Quiet despite being in the middle of the mad, mad, night bazar area, convenient to so much, and not too far away from anything. Every professional driver in town knows where this landmark is. ...

We were required to wait for 50 minutes to get the room but we waited for 55 minutes and the front desk staffs didn't say any "Sorry"! They gave so many excuses but since the check in time is 2pm, they should get the room ready by 2pm! No FREE coffee & tea in the room. Although the room is big, it's quite old & I don't like the fragrant they spray in the room. The double bed in superior room is a combination of 2 beds, so there's a gap in between, it's so uncomfortable. There're only 2 very small lifts in the hotel. Hot shower water become cold and become hot again and the table lamp is not working. The only good thing is the location as night bazaar is just at doorstep. Anyway, it's not worth for money. I would rather pay more for better hotel. I definitely won't stay in this hotel again!

I don't think we'll be staying in this hotel anymore. It's too dirty - need to change the carpet in the room and the waiter and waitress doesn't change the "mat" on the table; they just flip it over to the other side! The a/c in our room was not not cooling enough and after several calls to the room service, one of the person in charge barge in to our room after just one knock on the door - without waiting for us to open the door!!!!

The room is big. Near to the Night Bazaar, just walking distance. However, a bit old and not well maintain. They charge 90 bath for a laundry bag which never experience it in other hotels before. Breakfast not much of choices.

The Suriwongse hotel was very good located hotel in the night market area. We did not have any problems with noise because we stayed at the 8th floor. The hotel has a second building behind the fist which is not shown at the picture above. (old picture?) The breakfast was average and almost every morning the same. The lobby and interior of the hotel looked very good!! The swimmingpool was ok, about 2,8 metres deep and no undeep side! I went here by car, but parking was very poor!!! about 4-8 places where they move the cars constandly. When we arrived by car we missed the name of the hotel on the building. It was just not there! We would stay here again, but do hope they will put some more effert in their breakfast quality! Tom

I like the bed and the shower most. The carpet in the room is a bit dirty. Breakfast buffet - not much choice. I heard it was better in the past. If you like Night Bazaar, this is a perfect spot for you.

I will comment that this hotel room could have been much cleaner, even though it was very large and comfortable, it is not in a very safe part of town. However, The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. Shopping and taxi service were very good and alway nearby.

Facilities old and not well-kept. Reports of malfunctions not attended to. Room badly lit and washroom has numerous stains. Good location as night market at doorstep but would not stay in this hotel again as it is not worth the price paid.

Positive: definately the staff! Also good location for night shoppers Negative: the price was too high according to standard. The bathrooms definately needs attention. However, this was not my preferred choice but booked because couldn't find anything else in time. There are definately much more charming accommodation at a better price.

Located next to the night bazaar which offers good opportunities for shopping and local food. Room needs to be improved e.g. Carpet, Tap fittings and shower hose needs to be changed. Food can be improved.

The location of the hotel is excellent, next to the night bazar. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean. The standard of maintanence was a little poor but beside that everything was great. We stayed 2 adult with 2 children ages 5 and 3 and slept very well at the same bed which was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was immense with a lot of variety.

This hotel's very central to night markets and food stalls but at the same time romantic because it is an 'oasis' with a riverside view. It has a lot of charm but is hip at the same time, a lovely jaz...
