I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. Heaven should only be this good. This place is mind-boggling -- so beautiful, so lavish, so friendly, so fascinating, so much fun, so perfect on every level. It is more than a resort. It's like a living museum, full of antiques and magnificent architecture and even its own rice fields. The best one i ever have been in!! We had a lovely time, perfect for lovers! It was so nice to sit downstairs outside and listen the geggos and frogs and other animals making theyr noices and not a highway! It was like home.Loved-stayed at Deluxe Villa and the Lanna style was just beatifull, didn't want to leave the room! The hotel it self is beatiful place and nice to walk around, the only bad thing which is also a good thing was that it was bit too far from city, so you couldn't walk, well...nice walk. But it was also nice to be little bit away in your own peace after weekend in Bangkok! The food was vey good, though very expencive even for a food

In addition to the best service you've ever had in your life, there is an endess list of free activities for guests -- everything from yoga classes to handicraft lessons, to historical tours. You won't want to leave the premises (which stretch across 60 acres) because there is so much to see and do right there. My favorite was the "rice field activity," which involved riding a water buffalo (!) and actually planting rice in a muddy rice paddy. Sound like work? Not to worry; there is always someone nearby with a cold ginger-scented towel and a chilled bottle of water. Too tired to walk back to your lodging? No problem; a horse and carriage will come and pick you up. The staff is impressively knowlegeble about ancient Thai history and culture and endlessly eager to please. I can't say enough about how magnificnet this place is. It's like a Thai Disneyland, but rich with authenticity. And, of course, exquisite cuisine. Amazing attention to detail -- down to the addictively wonderful bath soaps. This is truly paradise on earth.
