Location is exceptional because you are in a green garden right downtown, 5 mn walk from ChiangMai ancient city walls. Room and garden space as well as tranquility is off course not as good as what you could get from an out of the city resort but from an inner city, the result is still very impressive. The weak point was food and beverage, breakfast and lunch quality were dissapointing, one of us also got serious food poisoning that we think came from a lunch taken at the hotel.

Our room was of adequate size but in need of general refurbishment and redecoration. Bearing in mind that the room was classified De Luxe, the furnishings were inadequate. For example there was little drawer space for clothing - clothes hanging space yes but drawer space negligible. There was no running hot water for the wash basin and lighting for the wash basin mirror was inadequate. A cupboard/shelf for toileteries would be a benefit. There were no curtains to cover the glass inserts in the doors.
A pity as the remainder of of the facilities were excellent and the free inter service was particularly appreciated. The restaurant menu for the evening meal was perhaps a little on the limited side.

The hotel was great, Staff really friendly and always prompt to help you for any istance; the location is good, close to both old city and night market; at the beginning we booked 3 night but we extended for further 2 days; strongly recommend this hotel;
