Rated #59 for all Chiang Mai hotels
Pleasant location, good mountain views, if a bit far from the centre. Nice layout of the hotel and grounds. Well-maintained. Simple but pleasing decor. Nothing testeless. Very good value indeed. But you need a car to enjoy it properly, otherwise would be too remote....

Size of rooms good but pillows quite hard n uncomfortable. Wardrobe dark and smells odd. Toilet alright but shower head could give a more even stream of water. Staff on whole very friendly most have difficulty understanding english. Those who did were all exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Location of hotel is bit out of the way very difficult to get taxis or tuk tuk back to hotel as they all want to charge exobitant fares like 200bht for a 10min ride
Breakfast in the hotel was good but wtih a limited selection. But sitting in coffee house facing the lake for breakfast makes it all worth while. The asian selection changed daily and is excellent.
Oh the whole very good value given the low season rate.
