The location was excellent as the resort is nestled in a valley with the hill behind us. The beautiful, landscaped gardens pleased my mother very much.
Please be patient…

Belle Villa Resort Reviews
Richard from United Kingdom stayed in a Special deluxe for 5 days.
The setting of this hotel is one of the most beautiful in northern Thailand. The price of the room represented excellent value for money but the cost of meals was excessive ; two star food at four star prices. The staff were always helpful and courteous; the activity manager very helpful. The massage service was of high standard but again very expensive. We would recommend the hotel to anyone - as long as they do not eat there.Hotel Facilities

Minor room service problem due to language. Elephant visit every morning was a huge hit with my daughter. Playground needs improvement. 30 minute mountain drive to town is a bit too far and car parking noise in ther morning was loud. One shuttle to and from downtown -- and costs 50-2000 bts extra for a ride into town. Rental car was good deal. $50/day with insurance. But the premise is well run and well kept. Good for time away from busy life.Hotel Facilities

Yock from Malaysia stayed in a Deluxe for 1 day.
I was browsing through the web to look for a serene hotel to unwind during the last day of my trip in Chiangmai and found Belle Villa. The pictures shown in the web look the kind of hotel that I am looking for. When I arrived, I was very pleased. The gardens and the landscaping and the surrounding are spectacular! Our deluxe room is spacious, clean and smells good. We especially like the color scheme of the room, it’s so peaceful and relax and yet as lively as spring. We made the right choice! Our stay of one night is definitely too short to explore the resort and enjoy the serene surrounding. We spend our time relaxing in the pool and the spa. They are two swimming pools, we like the larger one better, but we found some red ants crawling on the pool deck nearer to the bush, there are even a few of them floating in the pool. This is not totally unexpected as the resort is build near the hill side of the tropical forest. Another inconvenience is the language proficiency of the resort staff; we ordered Tom Yam soup and requested to take away the red chilly oil. The red chilly oil is taken away as requested, but the chef also reduce the spicy taste, that was a little disappointment as we like spicy Tom Yam, but this will not deter us from coming back again. Overall, the staffs are friendly and attentive. We will definitely return to stay longer. For those who are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this resort is highly recommended.Hotel Facilities

Appiah from India stayed in a Deluxe for 4 days.
The location of the hotel is excellent if all you want is peace & quiet. It is quite a distance to the town is 40 minutes. This we knew before making our booking. To visit most place of interest one has to drive up to the town & then head off. So a lot of time was spent in commuting. The staff is not very conversant in English. The food was pretty average. The place is very pretty.Hotel Facilities

Tim from Netherlands stayed in a House suite for 4 days.
The hotel is situated in a beatiful green environment, half an hours drive from downtown. This makes it easy to reach down town and still you can enjoy nature. The hotel is built in a beautifull garden with water and lush vegetation. We stayed in a very spacious detached pavillion with 2 storeys; perfect for a family stay even with young children.Hotel Facilities

Chun-Pang from Hong Kong stayed in a Deluxe for 9 days.
The best memory was the quality of food at dinning room, with live music, least crowd & passionate service. The arrangement of Resort like fitting out at low season was quite reasonable & normal, but the work like, sawing or digging started at 0800, quite early, or even while having breakfast at open air garden was not desirable. The peaceful or calm atmosphere was ruined a bit. The courtesy service of staff was a bonus, while most facilities in low season was unavailable due to maintenace or cleaning, like swimming pool was a bit dirty, particular the one next to lobby. This hotel was terrific!Hotel Facilities

Shuet from China stayed in a Deluxe for 3 days.
I have to say that the hotel is really beautiful, somehow very far away from the city of Chiang Mai as it took half an hour to travel to the city. The hotel should tackle its remoteness by offering more frequent free shuttle bus service. At the time of my stay, there was only one free shuttle bus service from hotel to Chiang Mai city depart at 10 am and the other way round from city to the hotel at 3pm. In other words the tourists must pay extra travelling fees in order to see the Night Bazaar or enjoy other night life. There are not much choice in restaurants and the restaurants seemed to offer the same menu throughout the day and night. Even if I want to stay in the hotel, I have problem in satisfying my appetite for different meals. There is only one swimming pool.Hotel Facilities

the room was very clean, comfortable and had nice views out the window and balcony. The hotel was situated some distance from the town areas but that was ok...we wanted scenery and it was a very beautiful setting. IF you want to be in the heart of the town then dont stay here. If you want beauty and quiet this is the place! The breakfast was served in an outside patio, it was excellent and we got to see the resident elephant each morning water the flowers!!
