Lovely thai style wooden guestrooms, very nice and accomodating staff, quiet location in local community while not far from the city centre. If only the shower can be improved to give more volume!...

This hotel had some redeeming factors about it but many things were a disappointment. Let's just note, however, that we did only pay ten dollars a night, so we shouldn't have expected much to begin with. However, the hotel did not look like the website photos. All of the teak was dusty, giving it a used look. Our room was always cold, the heater didn't really work, the bathroom was a fairly good size but the shower was really bad- it got hot, but it had very little water pressure and the tub was dirty. We could hear everything through the walls and the door had a pitiful lock, so we didn't feel safe. Only one member of the concierge staff spoke English, and we only saw her once during our entire four day stay. Luckily, she was great- helped us book tours at reasonable prices and gave us a lot of information. Had it not been for her, I would have been so unhappy I would have switched hotels. The laundry service was good and cheap, and the breakfast was good each morning, but the rest of it was just much less than we expected. The phone in the room did not work, and we had a really hard time getting a taxi to the airport when we needed it because the guys at the desk did not speak english and we were not near a main road to hail one down early in the morning. I recommend staying at a nicer hotel in Chiang Mai City, on one of the main roads, for not that much more money a night but with better service and nicer amenities.

Garden is beautiful, breakfast is not so bad compare with the accommodation price. But this guesthouse is far from Chiangmai city, not easy to find tuk-tuk. Do not suggest to backpackers.

Has a beautiful garden and lovely entrance and reception area. Our room was rather dark and the electrics could definitely do to be updated.
