I love staying at Zenith, and will be back there for my next trip to Bangkok. The location is ideal because it's closed to the skytrain, and many halal food stall right in front of it. The food was great, so is the service. Very recommended!...

i have been coming back to Zenith Hotel over and over for the past 7 years during our stays in Bangkok. Initially it was for the total package of location, value 4 money and service-facilities near the Bumrungrad hospital. The prices have increased considerably from the past years but location and service are still important enought fr me to stay at Zenith. Can recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a good location, service and facilities at a reasonable price in the heart of Bangkok.

I thought this was an excellent hotel. The only "negative" I would say is that it's not terribly close to the skytrain. Now, it's about 15 minutes walk so it's not very far away but I'd have liked it to be closer.

This is a hotel we have been using for the past 6-7 years. The hotel has a great location relatively to the Bumrungrad hospital. The roof top pool, firendly staff and brreakfast its best assets. The new rooms are also nice but the overall value for money has decreased with higher prices being currently charged. The internet rates are high in Bangkok hotels, I think they should be part of the general services provided in every hotel and not something extra for A CHARGE.

I have stayed several times in this hotel and find it generally very good except that there are noises from neighboring rooms, especially when people are using the bathrooms. Another thing is that the people cleaning the rooms make unecessary noice in the hall very early in the morning. This is also disturbing my sleep.

The Skypool is excellent. The Hotel is well located - only a 10 minute walk to the skytrain. Rooms are clean and the service good, staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good value for money, but the restaurant was poor. The taxi desk was completely overpriced.

Had a great stay except for the renovation noise a few floors above me. Hoteltravel.com did make me aware of this renovation via email before I went. I have stayed at this hotel many times and love it for it's location (it is right in the shopping and nightlife hotspots). Room service is very reasonably priced and the Skypool makes the perfect getaway from the noise and crowds of Sukhumvit. I will continue to stay here when I travel to Bangkok. Make sure to request a single (not adjoining) room as the doors that connect these joining rooms can let a lot of noise into your room.

We didn't feel comfortable constantly seeing all the tiny ants crawling around in the bathroom. The layout out the hotel could be better, the hotel facilities aren't centrally located like most hotels and is a little confusing at first. However the breakfest buffett is very good, the staff is very friendly, and the pool has a great view of the city.

Rooms are very clean and average size. Rooftop pool and buffett breakfast are the best things about this hotel. Location is excellent if you like using the skytrain (I do), otherwise the traffic is a bit heavy here. Shuttles from hotel are overpriced. I would stay again.

I stayed twice at the Zenith Sukhumvit Hotel during August. I stayed in both the Hemingway Deluxe Room and the Hemingway Executive Suite, both rooms were excellent. Internet access is available in the room but there are insufficient electrical outlets for a computer. I found it necesssary to unplug a lamp and use an adapter to power my laptop.

have stayed at the Zenith over the past 5 years or so couple of times a year, we have been happy with the value-quality before but recent increase in price from around $40 to $60+ has in our opinion reduced this benefit. This time we booked couple of months in advance and requested a baby bed but did not get one until our third night, this was dissappointing. Staff are generally very friendly and helpful, breakfast is good and the rooms are ok.

The staff was very friendly, cooperative and prompt. Food was good. Hotel location is very convinient for people who wants to stay in the city area. Lot of taxis are available round the clock. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Everything about the hotel was good but I think the room was slightly over-priced for being in a 3 star hotel. Room was well-appointed but the not all the lights worked well and the size was average. The rooftop swimming pool was a winner! The in-room internet for executive rooms and above was a nice amenity. The hotel was close to many restaurants, etc but was a good walk to the closest Skytrain stop. Was close to Bumrungrad Hospital. Hotel lobby was multi-use, very traditional, and did not have such a welcoming lay-out of chairs, etc. I did not enjoy having the one restaurant, right off of the lobby with no doors to close it off, convert to a disco/night club at night. Made the lobby very noisy once the band started up in the evenings.

Cannot be classified as a three (3) star hotel, more likely one (1) star. Service levels are very very poor. 90% of staff do not speak or understand english. Breakfast buffet seriously has to be reviewed, cannot call it american breakfast, same food types every day. Better change the chef. The most important factor is this hotel is mostly patronised by arab or muslim clientale which i observed during my stay and they keep 'pork' dishes along with other food in the buffet. I think the area for pork items should be seperated. My friend even refused to use the main buffet area due to this same fact. What were they thinking. Upon check -in i requested to see the Front Office Manager - was told in a meeting will contact me later. I gave my business card until our check out nobody from the hotel management contact or leave a message. PATHETIC when you are paying us $ 65 per night per room. Overall i would not recommend any of our friends from uae to stay at zenith. Thank you for your time & effort. I strongly suggest you recommend hotels which can provide value for money.

This time round, I was staying at Zenith for the second stint, the first back in 2003. It has impressed me so much the first time that I didn't try to hard looking around for somewhere else other than for the best price on the various websites. Its well worth the price and I wouldn't hesitate to return there once more.

Overall the hotel is good but the distance to the closest BTS is a fair walk. However, if I were to go back to Bangkok I would seriously consider staying there again.

We used the Zenith as our Thailand base for side trips to Phuket and Chiang Mai. They efficently stored our luggage and it worked out fine. Hotel is good value for the money and love that roof pool - especially days reaching 35C and above! Ten minute walk to Nana metro station which is nothing for a New Yorker even at 100 degrees Farenheit.

Still a very good alternative for your stop over i Bangkok. Very friendly staff.Hotel is close to public transport and some nice shops. Soi 3 has become a very busy road. The hotel is located in a very cosmopolitan area and one of the best kebab-spots in Bangkok could be found nearby.

Conveniently located in the heart of where the action is if it's the nightlife you're looking for. My only critisism on my stay was the timing of the housekeeper! Maybe she couldn't read the 'DO NOT DISTURB' sign on the door or they just like to walk in on you! But overall I would recommend this hotel and make it my first booking choice when I return to bangkok next year.

The roof top swinmming pool is excellent. Location is also excellent if you like to be close to the entertainment area. Last time I stayed here I got a room in the end of a hall and appearently next to a room where the hotel cleaning personnell slept. I was bothered by noice from this room early in the morning at 6pm (talking and laughing), and there is also a strong noise from the neighbors bath room when water is being used.
