I thought this was wonderful value for money. The location was great for my purposes - mainly market shopping. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. It certainly isn't 5-star,but the price reflects that. The restaurant was basic but inexpensive. I actually stayed here as a stopover on my way out to India and on the way back. This gave me the experience of a room on the off-road side of the building and then the on-road side. You must definitely ask for a room on the off-road side. The road is noisy all night!!!...

The carpet in the room is worn out. The bathroom floor tiles are stained and the wash basin leaks. The room needs a new coat of paint. The bathroom has a window (end room) which people from other building outside can see into the bathroom. Some of the towels are worn out. The furniture is old and dirty. The bed is rather hard and I can feel the spring. Motor vehicles passing by outside the hotels are rather noisy especially at night if your room is facing the main road or on the lower floors. Generally all the staff is friendly except for some housekeeping staff. We were told when we checked in that we can get hot drinking water and hair dryer by just dialing ‘3’. The hot water was delivered all the time to us after we called this number but on the last day of our stay, one of the staff that delivered the hot water to us told us with a sour face that if we need hot water we have to go down to the second floor to get it. She looks very irritated. I think the hotel should consider putting hot water kettle and hair dryer in all the rooms as standard items. Breakfast needs to be improved. The menu is almost the same everyday. On the first day some of the glasses for juice have cockroach smell on them. The hotel does not allow late check out. Our flight is 8.20pm but we have to check out by 12 noon. However, the location of the hotel is quite near to good shopping areas. The lobby and restaurant is ok and well maintained. I would only consider going back to this hotel only if

Some hotel rooms were in renovation. Therefore quite loud in the morning, beginning at 7- 8 am. Very dirty carpet in my room. Solvents from the air-conditioning system, because other rooms were being painted. Old furniture. Not up-to-date at all. Breakfast is very little.

Overall no complaints for the price I paid. In fact some of the front desk staff & concierge were quite friendly, if engage in conversation. Rooms are pretty standard and clean but the breakfast buffet can be improved upon. Location wise, very close to all the shopping areas (clothes, clothes & more clothes) except the BTS stations, which is quite a walk (15 mins...?) but still very safe even in the night.

The Bathroom is not good, water comes out from the drainage pipe to bath room when i use the bath tub. Even after my request to open telephone for the use of international telephone calls i was not able to use the calling cards from the room the reason is the key pad was party locked and even i took this matter to the desk they said they don't know any thing about it and from their behaviour i assume that it is perposely done, they want me to use their phone to call international instead of calling cards. In the other hotel i stayed i never experienced these difficulty. Over all the stay was GOOD
