Bed is too soft and the spring is too hard. Fruits provided during breakfast is not fresh. Others still okay. If you would like to stay in Chinatown with cheap rate this is a good choice provided you are not staying too long.

This place is awful. It is in my view a worn out dump. Next time I need to visit Chinatown I will stay in a nicer area and just catch the bus.

i am from saudi, and the hotel is not good for arab because all shop and food around for chinees and thiland people. but if you want be far from arab people, this great hotel and area for you. it is old and not renew for long time.
Transportation availability awul, they do not have it because i requested but they did not help. Business services poor, because they did not make free charge for hotel's coustmer. no arab food. if you want safty, if you want chines and thiland food, if you do not want arab looking, this good for you.

The location of the hotel is good as it is near the main road and a short distance from the busy Samphan Lane in Chinatown. It is also easy to get a taxi as soon as we get along the road. There is a taxi counter at the hotel. However, the charges are more expensive than the metered taxi plying along the road.
The reception area is located on the second level. Above that, there is a karaoke lounge which starts operations at 8pm and charges a nominal sum of 20 Baht for a song excluding the drinks. Round the corner are two computers for rental at 30 Baht for 15 mins. The administration of the computers is very effective in that it will stop its function once the time is up with no warning at all. I tried to send out a message near the end of my 15 mins. It is not get through apparently because the time was exceeded.
For the price we paid, we cannot complain that the hotel is old and that the bed is depressed on one side. Also the air-con seems to be too cold even though it is switched to `low'. The However, the hotel provided new towels when the room is cleaned up the next morning.
My overall assessment is that it is worth the price we paid for the accommodation in the hotel.

Air conditioning, ventilation and maintenance of rooms is not satisfactory. Staff provides practically no assistance in planning tours. Houskeeping staff are not courteous and it is difficult to contact housekeeping. Being located in chinatown it gives an awful start of Bangkok tour for a first timer.

excellent location for foods especially at night, a plus point is that most can speak Teochew, near to places of interests. for shopping, need to go downtown by taxi. if u shopping for dried foodstuffs, this the place. Breakfast really need to improve. their friday night buffet, held at the lobby was wrong, with people walking in and out from lifts and main entrance, also selection of foods were limited. beside the food, there nothing to dislike the hotel.

No safe, there is a notice not to leave valuables in the room. Cockroaches. The windows are so dirty that there is nothing you could see through them. Air-con exists and works, but the dump smell from it... The linen and furniture is on the edge of existence and is going to collapse soon. The staff does not speak much English. The food was Ok. The China Town itself is picturesque but very dirty and noisy. The location is very convenient if you feel like going to palaces etc. You'll need 500 baht deposit for the room key.

When it is your first time in Asia, the adaptation to Chinatown could be difficult but the service is good for a midrange hotel in Bangkok and all the rooms are with air conditionning (absolutely necessary even in December). And the most advantage of this hotel is definitively the location : 10 minutes from the piers (ideal for to go to many sights like the grand palace), 10 minutes from the metro and the central railway station Hua Lamphong (perfect if you want to have a one-day trip to Ayuthaya). After, it is a bit far from Siam Square and Sukhumvit with all the restaurants and the malls for tourists and expats.
It is very easy to go everywhere in Bangkok from there because the public bus system is so complicated (no translation in english, no good maps with the bus' routes, several rates for the price, etc.)

Hotel is excellent value for money in the heart of Chinatown. My only objection is that we booked for 2 nights and were given dated breakfast tickets for two mornings. We knew we would be leaving long before we could use the second breakfast ticket and asked to use it on the morning we arrived. That request was refused based on "policy" even though it still would have been only 2 breakfasts.

Generally, it is valuable for money. However more can be done with regards to cleanliness of the corridors (dust, peeling paint, dirty windows), smell from the foot massage shop can be improved. Still, the staff has been quite professional.

This hotel rate is 2 stars...it should be minus 2 stars. The shower was so dirty that I didn't want to go in there. I went to the dinning room, I ask for a soup...bad soup ( who guest?) and then I saw a big coakroach on the wall. At 2 Oclock in a morning I was so sick that I was wondering if I could take my flight. Well, I'm not satisfied at all.

for a 3 star hotel, we were not expecting much so the well-tidied rooms with clean toilets, carpet and sheets are well appreciated. however, the hotel furnishing is old.

Hotel catering mainly to Chinese nationals rather than westerners: Buffet dinner, for instance, was absolutely bizarre, only to be outdone later by baffling versions of European cocktails. Certainly the first gin and tonic I've ever had that was bright blue and served with a slice of pineapple. Good points: Very good value, generous buffet breakfast, centre of Chinatown: Bad points: Cramped, windowless and dowdy rooms: Baths too small for westerners: Food and beverages a bit too surreal for most tastes.
