The hotel's location is great and it is the best value I found in it sitting so near to Chong Nonsi Sky train station and to Silom's center and night's action.
Breakfast was fine. I wish they added white cheese.
I only slept and ate breakfast so can't say much about facilities there.
One's can't ask too much for such low price.
Only hotel's name seems to be different than written on it as it was changed. Some problem for taxi drivers to find....

The room is newly refurbished so it is fresh but without the smell of paint. However, renovation was still ongoing so there are occasional noise. Parts of the hotel are basically a bit too old, like the in-room air-conditioner is making noise when running at full power. Internet access is free but requires constant request for new coupon (every 3 hours of use). Breakfast included and food is simple but nice. It is alright if one doesn't mind almost the same variety everyday. This is a place I'd revisit and recommend to anyone looking for a value for money stay in Bangkok.

The hotel has undergone a very zen renovation. I was fortunate to be the 1st to use the newly renovated room. The bed and pillows were fresh, the towels were freshly clean. The wireless were free and works! Room is fantastic, great value for money. If they keep up this condition, I will surely stay there again. Some suggestions: the toilet had a humid smell, the room's air-cond took a while to cool the room; no umbrella for rent or loan; corridors are not well-ventilated.

Not the best place to say, for what i paid i could have stayed at a lot nicer place especially in Bangkok. Corridor smelt of cigarettes, lighting was bad, only a handful of channels on the tv and had a very cheap and dingy feel to it. Location is good next to the metro system however to taxi driver had a lot of trouble finding the hotel. For the price i paid i would not stay here again.

The rooms are big and clean. We find the location great since it is near to the BTS Chong Nongsi Station and the night markets at Patpong. Rrestaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel staff are courteous, helpful and always greets the guests with a smile. Cleaning of room is done regularly, the towels and other items in the bathroom are replaced everyday.The breakfast buffet is also good.

We have recently returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. It was excellent value for money! Given the price that we paid I wasn't sure what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised! It is in a fantastic location only a very short walk to the skye rail. We were a family who travelled with 3 children aged 3, 7 and 9 - so location was very important. The pool was located in the building across the street - this was a great way to finish the day. Highly recommend this hotel and I would definately stay again!

She haven't any notice or signage in main road so many taxi drivers difficult to find the location. We stay in 2/F rooms near lift area have cockroach and air-condition not enought, so we request change room on same floor, this room is very good & clean.
About the staffs was not efficiency & smart : 24 May 7:35am had renovation in lobby and make big big noisy, my friend went to lobby to check what happen. The staff reply they hadn't know works on today and Manager on leave. My friend asked how can you solve this? They just reply Manager on leave again and continue pick up the complaint telephone. My friend very angry so said all the front desk staffs except an expectant mother went to the renovation area to stop all the works until 11:00 am.

I have stayed in this hotel before in December 2006. While my stay was otherwise quite comfortable on that occasion also, the only cause of complaint that I had then was the shoddy breakfast buffet. Now all that has changed drastically for the better. The breakfast is now of a rather good standard. Therefore, my wife and I would class this hotel now as one of the very best for the holidaymaker in terms of its sheer value for money and we would have no hesitation in staying there again. I stay few days, everyday when I back to hotel, I need to check and killed cockroach.On Bathroom, Bed, Wall, Cabinet and floor..... everyway have cockroachs. Did you supprise that 1 night I killed 10pcs cockroachs !!!!! I stayed 2nd time in this hotel, last time just 1 or 2 cockroach (different room). I ask the METER taxi to airport, they arrange someone their "friend" taxi and ask without meter!!! Usually is baht350 +/-, but they ask for baht450, and last for baht400!!

This hotel worked out great! Killer location very close to the Skytrain and a couple of blocks from the Patpong night market. The hotel was a bit older and could use a freshening, but no biggee as it was clean, the staff was great and it all worked out fine and I don't expect a 5 star hotel on $50US. (some people do...you will find them in these posts!) We would stay there again and would recommend it for anyone wanting budget accomodations in the center of Bangkok.

Just 5 minues walk from Chong Nonsi BTS Station. Enter the soi/lane between 7-11 and Family Mart convenient store. The lane is well lit at nigh. For taxi, tell the driver the hotel is at silom soi 3. The hotel restaurant has recently been upgraded with average buffet breakfast. To use the swimming pool on the opposite block 9th floor, has to get coupon from reception. I have been staying at this hotel since way back when. I just love this place - it is so covenient and yet quiet. The 'older' staff recognizes me and staff there are generally friendly. With the recent upgrade of the cafe, the breakfast menu has improved tremendously. I go to Bangkok once every three months and you can be sure I will be staying at Trinity Silom - ops it is now called Residence@Trinity.

MY RETROSPECTION : - I stayed at this hotel for 5 days 4 nights duration ( 1.9.07 - 5.9.07 ). I found the check-in/out counter's staff were excellent and very helpful. Frankly speaking, this hotel is 100% perfectible if an electric-kettle to be provided. It is much better than an vacuum flask!!!!!!!! During my stay in Silom Trinity Hotel, my room number is 216. the room is terrible. i stayed in the same room for 3 nights. Every night when i came back from outside, many cockroachs in the toilet and also on the room carpet. They are like having a party in my room for 3 nights. This is my first time i found cockroachs in hotel room, i will not forget about this experience during my stay in silom trinity hotel. The breakfast is so so, they serve same foods everyday. The location is not easy to find and we have to walk in dark and along the small road when we back to and out from hotel, it is a bit dangerious. Overall, i dont like this hotel because the cleanliness is a major concern to me.

I do not have anything bad to say about this hotel. The staff at the front desk ,the staff cleaning and looking after the rooms are very nice ,helpfull and friendly. I wish that they will have sports stations on their cable TV ...like Star Sports ,Super Sports ,Espn ,etc.....

The Chong Nonsi BTS Station is only about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. For the pirce that is being offered, you could not ask for more if you are in Bangkok and all you need from the hotel is for it to be clean, safe and most importantly, conveniently located.

Even though the furnishings in the room could do with updating, the room itself was clean and functional. The breakfast was the worst thing about this hotel as there was very little choice, no utensils and the restaurant bit untidy. The best thing about this hotel was its location as it is right round the corner from Chong Nonsi sky train, which we used to get around the city. I would use this hotel again for its convenient location.

The hotel rate is reasonably cheap and certainly good value for those who watch their budget. Although it's not five star, but you get the convenience of being close to sky rail station, the shops and busy night life. The large 25m pool and gym is a great bonus if you like relaxing in the hotel. The included breakfast is average but certainly sufficient. My second time stay there and will do more in future.

Great budget hotel in the Silom area. Only a few minutes walk from Silom Rd and Sala Daeng station. Housekeeping staff were humurous and friendly and crack jokes as you say hello in the corridor. There seemed to be a lot of trainees on the front desk and a few messages that were left by friends never got to us. The pool area although in a different part of the trinity complex was huge and there is a diving board. Breakfast was just ok. Fresh cooked omlette and two pieces of toast and a coffee is all I need so it sufficed.

This is the 2nd time that I am staying at this hotel.The location of this hotel is excellent close to all amenities,food and shops just a stone throw distance and the chongnonsi bts less than 5mins walk.The breakfast are more than adequate even though is about the same food every morning.I stay at this hotel for 5 nights there was one day that they forgot to put in fresh towels in the bathroom and the pillow was left without pillow case,but was quickly rectify after a reminder.The room and the bath was a bit old and run down,but overall for the location and the price its still worth it.

Hotel was near skytrain which did help a lot. Room service was bad. We needed a knife and a plate to eat local fruits. The room service staff took an eternity to understand that we needed only a plate and knife to ultimately say that we had to pay for that. Apart from that the hotel was good, very clean.

Hotel is in a lane which was dark at night. Sky train is very accessible but you need to find the nearest access. Breakfast was very poor - not much choice, not enough cutlery, ants on serving table, very slow toasters and guests were using Tongs to extract bread from electric toaster!!!! Not as good as most three star hotels in Bangkok; however desk staff were extremely helpful. Pool was up flights of stairs and across a walkway from the hotel. Certainly not a hotel for the disabled in any way.

We really had a good time during our stay in Trinity Silom, convenience location, room is large and cleanliness, attrative price & cheerful frontdesk staffs.The only unpleasure experience that we encountered was the service provides by one of the waitresses, at their restaurant during our breakfast.
We had be reminded, through the reviews at hoteltravel.com, that not to expect too much on the breakfast provices by Trinity, therefore, we were surprised once we found omelette was proviced. The waitress, even delivered the omelettes to all the guests (at least several westerners we had saw). The first time, we made an order but got nothing, I believed Fon had forgotted the order. The second day, we made an order again but still got nothing. We went to Fon and checked, she did prepare an omelette but just let it stayed on the bench and asked for our room number. We felt being discriminating at that moment. In fact, this added a spot on our journey. This also pushed us to search for another hotel for our next stay in Bangkok.

I was very disapointed with the fact that when i arrived to the hotel at 10 pm they had reserved twin sharing rooms for my group although the booking had emphasized on a deluxe room. when enquired we had the dissapointing answer that all deluxe rooms had been occupied till our departure, travel.com needs to seroiusly look into this kind of fraudelent practises by hoteleers. The rooms and toilets although old were clean. location could have been better as the access roads were more like alley ways.
The staff were pleasant and provided breakfast was mpressive for the rate. Rooms were super quiet and condusive for sleep.
We had problems with the tv in 2 of the 4 rooms that we had and it took the management 3 days of repeated complains to fix the problem.
Overall if on a budget this hotel will suit you.

The number plus point of this hotel is its proximity to the BTS. Its just a minute walk away. The room I stayed was the Executive Suite and it was really huge with your own living room and kitchen. The furniture was a tit bit old but still acceptable. Room was maintain very clean.

This hotel is the best value for money anyone can get. It has the best location ever!!! Skytrain (Chong Nonsi station) is only 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel. 7 eleven, Boots, McDonalds are near the hotel, so it's really convenient. There is also a spa (Qi Spa) just outside the hotel which is really nice but expensive. As for the rooms and facilities at the hotel, don't expect too much. It is after all a budget hotel. Nevertheless, it has all the basic needs. The rooms are huge, bathrooms are clean. The breakfast are only so so but who cares when there are plenty of nice food in Bangkok. So I will definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Trinity Hotel was value for money. My requirements for a hotel in Bangkok were:
1. in the city centre (Trinity is in Silom where the street market, eateries and night scene are)
2. close to the Metro (Trinity is only 100m to the BTS station)
3. spacious and clean rooms (my room was spacious and clean, the king size bed was comfortable)
4. No problem with communication (Trinity has friendly and English speaking receptionists)
5. I got all the above, yet within my budget of USD30-40 per room per night
For all the above, I would stay in Trinity Hotel again, booking through HotelTravel which offers very reasonable deals.

The daily rate is not bad, but it seems not safe after dark.
The bath tub was damage, it should be replaced, or redecorated.
Street lights should be provided on the roads from the main streets to the hotel.

I booked 2 rooms with 1 double bed & 2 single beds. But they provided me with 2 double bed rooms. Location is very good, just less than 5 mins walk to Chong Nonsi(S3) skytrain station (about 100 meter). Can see spider web on the ceiling. The bed covers (white color) are not very clean (can see some dirt on it) but still acceptable. Room is very big. Consider good for a 1100 baht per night room. I heard people complaining about the breakfast, but for me it is consider good. I had one bad experience with the lift. It stopped while I am taking the lift to level 2. Need help from hotel staff to open the lift door. I will come again next time if I went to Bangkok again.

The staff was great and very helpful. Over all it was a good stay, except a few little things. They outragously over charge for phone and Internet service. The room I stayed could use new carpet and new sheets for the bed would be nice! Otherwise I would stay there again, I rate this hotel as average. Also, it is very nicely placed close to the skytrain which can get you just about anywhere you need to go in Bangkok with the exception sometimes of a short taxi ride.
