The hotel is well situated, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and always willing to help - they did not give the impression that everything was being done in order to get a tip - a feeling that always makes me feel uncomfortable. Well recommended even for the elderly as my 84 year old mother enjoyed it very much too....

Good value for money and good location. I stayed here when it was the Tower Inn and they have upgraded it substantially, but it is still not top class hotel. When checking out two European men were checking in explaining that their hotel (Sofitel) wouldn`t let them bring girls into the room. Also they have added a `Girls` bar near the elevators where female bartenders work. All in all, not very classy

Room was large with a good view but the furniture was old with the plywood peeled off at many places.Bathroom was small compared to the room,no faucet for the toilet.Front office staff needs to be more forthcoming with information. Furniture peeled off, bathroom small and no faucet for toilet. Took assistance for only taxi service which was good. Complimentry water bottles were not given in adequate nos, they had to be asked. Used only breakfast, spread was average specially fresh fruits.

Hallways to rooms are worn out. Carpet in room is very old. Not sure if the linens are changed everyday? Rooms are great size, location is great. Staff is great. Scalding hot water in bathrooms! I didnt mind!. Furniture is old. But lots of closet space. The light switch outlets are all over the place. Should make the lighting more simple. Pool is great because it's on the roof. Awesome view, but I personally wish the water was deeper. Fitness room equipment is a little old and they charge to use the sauna! 200 Baht!! Room service was very fast and the staff is nice. Lots of places nearby to eat. The breakfast is good, not great. But it's something to eat and the staff there is fast and professional. I would grade it higher but the building shows wear. Maybe they plan to upgrade it. If they did some minor touchups this would be a much better place. I am planning to stay there again & bring some friends. My favorite area of Bangkok. Close to everything. Bad part is the traffic outside, but it's not the hotels fault. Pleanty of taxis outside hotel. The skytrain is very close.

The staff is very friendly and professional and the rooftop pool is wonderful. Unfortunately we had ants in our bathroom so we had to switch rooms. But since out room standard was upgraded, we don't have anything to complain.

Nice large room, good service, good location for nightlife and shopping and sky-train. Pool on roof great for relaxing after hard days sight seeing and shopping Its was my 3rd time at this hotel. If any critisism, the very comprehensive breakfast is cleared away right on 10.00am - so don't be late down.....

I like the size of the room, but not the connection door between the rooms made we as a single woman feel unsecure, the room was too oldfashion for me, but the size very good, I also liked the minibar, even if I did not use it.

Overall this hotel is average for me. However, I think is time to renovate and change some of the old decorations, guest room sofa and bed.

My second visit to this hotel was every bit as good as my first. Location is excellent, close to shops, market, night life, sky train etc. Gym is ok but the roof top pool is poor, only good for a dip on a hot day!

I have visited Bangkok for 5 times in different hotel and this is the best hotel i stay in. The food for breakfast are excellent and has variety choices of food compare to the prices. The room are very big. For me, I will choose this hotel again when I visit Bangkok in the future.

King-size bed was given when requested, and the room is very large - bigger than any other similar class hotels I have stayed previously. Seems the hotel building was converted from a building for some other uses previously, and maybe that explains the large room. Furnishing and interior are rather unrefined by any standard. There are even 2 sealed-off old pipes poking 6 ins. out of the floor on the side wall immediately after the main door. One side of corridor faces the main road (hotel block is perpendicular to main road), and it is very noisy from traffic below. Corridor is not airconditioned, and with the sun beating down onto its opaque sliding windows on one side, it is like walking through an oven. Toilet is fairly clean, but ours is one of the few rooms where toilet has two vent holes on top facing corridor. As such, traffic noise and people talking loudy outside corridor is very disturbing. Staff are not particularly friendly, but I did not expect much either. Need to walk like >ten minutes to the nearest BTS station, which is not convenient for me. But otherwise, the stay is uneventful. Expensive for the standard of hotel.

Hotel was renewed recently. Unfortunately only the outside is new, since room style denotes somewhat a prehistoric design! Nevertheless rooms are large, hotel is conveniently located nearby the Skytrain network (the next station is only some 300 meters away). Rate is overpriced for such a category of hotels if compared with the abundant choice available in Bangkok.

When we arrived at the hotel (8 PM) we felt almost unwelcome. Not a single smile (in Thailand!) The room we got the first night was awful. There was no better room that night. The staff tried to make us pay extra money for a better room. Of course I didn't accept that. The next day they gave us another rum, rather poor but at least acceptable. We had no other problems leter but the "welcome" we've got was enough for me. I don't stay in Tower Inn again.

Reasonable value considering the cost of surrounding accommodation. All rooms i stayed in had the stench of cigarette smoke. The hotel should ensure their lounges are cleaned, not left dirty.

Large rooms but they need refurbishing. Breakfast good, but heavily overpriced if not included in room rate. The toaster is hardly heating the bread, though.

For the price you pay the Tower Inn is definately worth it. The rooms are spacious enough to be comfortable, and their facilities are also a bonus such as the pool and gym. It is located in the centre of town, so transport is close by. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable. I would definately recommend the Tower Inn.

Location for entertainment and restaurant facilities is excellant. Hotel furnishing is a little 'tired' but renovation was in progress. Height of car park, floor to ceiling, does not allow vehicles to be higher than 1.9m

Tower Inn is excellently located on Silom Road, close to the night market, major shopping malls and good restaurants. It features a very nice pool on the top with a fantastic view of Bangkok. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and to very comparable prices.
