Great hotel, real value for money, it resembles more to a 4 star hotel, instead of a 3 star. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice pool, located next to the gym and hotel restaurant, and the whole set up makes it very relaxing just sitting by the poolside, under the sun, reading, suntanning, or swimming, etc. There's a nice massage center just across the hotel. Although the hotel is not in the heart of shopping area(10 mins. taxi only from hotel though), we would still come back to this hotel. Our strategy here is to 'save' on the hotel price by staying in twin tower, (the hotels ne...

The hotel overall was excellent and we would consider staying at Twin Towers again on our next visit. The only "complaint" was the the breakfast, the variety on western food was poor.

There is nothing to do on your doorstep and the concierge did not seem too confident about us (two girls) venturing outside after dark. However, there are always porters out the front to flag down cabs and it terms of distance to attractions, everything is within a 15 min ride. The staff were very friendly and the cocktails were even better. The pool area didn't get much sunshine but then when staying in Bangkok, you don't really need a pool. Would definately reccommend this hotel to others.

The room is very spacious and compare to the other hotels near the shopping center or the pratunam area the noise level here is very minimal and you can find the whole lot of privacy in this hotel. The hotel staff are all friendly and kind but only a few of them that I find can speak proper English and we can communicate with them easily. Only one thing that I need to comment out regarding the bath tub on my room. It looks worn out and there is some chips off ceramics on the bath tub base. Overall it was a great experience staying there.

Facilities of the hotel are good, however the carpets in the room were quite grubby considering the relatively young age of the hotel. There were no disposable slippers which was annoying. Internet access cards (at 700 baht for 24 hours) were very expensive. All other hotels I have stayed at on this trip (Miami, Toronto, Paris, Frankfurt, Ho Chi Minh City, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing), all provide complimentary internet access. I don't mind paying, but the cost needs to be reasonable. Size of room was quite comfortable, as was the bed. And house-keeping personnel were very friendly and helpful. My only concern was that the carpet was looking somewhat stained and dirty, and there were no disposable slippers. Reception was not helpful with regard slippers, but house-keeping was very helpful and quickly came with disposable slippers. Restaurants were pleasant and food quality was quite good. Breakfast was good quality. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I was most impressed with the concierge service - very attentive and understanding. Brilliant 24 hour cafe on the ground floor. Food there is quite acceptable and reasonably priced. Access to internet (Wifi) was good, however I was disappointed at the cost. A 1-hour access card, at 300baht (close to US$10) - has to be the most expensive I have yet to see in all my travels. I had no choice but to take the 24-hour access card for 700baht even though I was only going to use 2hours worth. A real rip-off, especially when other hotels I have stayed at on this trip provide internet access for free. Come on, broadband for a month doesn't cost a fortune so why charge a month's worth for 24 hours access?? On average my experience was good. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. And the breakfast service was quite acceptable. Quite close to some shopping centres, but quite far by taxi to others, especially the entertainment areas like Sukhumvit. Quite easy access off the motorway as well. lots of taxi at the front. Need to be careful as these taxi drivers always insist on not using the meter, and "telling" how much they want to charge....always insist on them switching on the meter...or threaten to abandon the taxi.

The hotel itself is ok but the staff there is VERY rude, especially at the reception area. During the last day of our stay, I end up paying extra. THey should have informed us earlier for any extra charges and not during check out time! I was in a rush to the airport so didn't bother to argue with them. However, after this incident, I am sure I won't be staying in this hotel anymore cause there are tons a hotels better than this one in Bangkok!

My friend and I stayed at one of the worst hotels in the world. It was really terrible. It does look like a big hotel, so we thought it would be okay. Yet, the room was not clean. The bed was not cleaned properly. The lighting was horrible. The paint on the wall needed a dire makeover. The carper wasn't too clean either and the whole decor of the room was not good. The bathtub looked like it has been there since the hotel first opened up. It was very old and not clean-looking. Part of the exterior of the bathtub had peeled off. The amenities were so poor. No slippers, no bathrobes, and no toothpaste and toothbrush provided. Everything had to be paid for according to the front desk. It was a cheap experience. I probably would have gotten a better deal the Super 8 motel. No one should ever stay or recommend this hotel. Also, the food at the hotel was not good at all. My friend didn't really like the meal. Thailand has a lot of good food, but not at this hotel. I even got sick after eating their room service food. Also, the presentation of the room service was terrible. They don't even provide you with napkins. The hotel is also far from everything and everywhere. There is nothing at this hotel at all, but just the expressway. Also, the staff weren't friendly. We stayed at the Hilton Phiuket Arcadia and the Montien Hotel Bangkok on other days during our trip and the experience was so much better. No matter the hotel, the staff should be friendly and they should at least provide

The room was bigger than we expected, even for three people with an extra bed. The location was around 20 minutes from MBK, Siam Square, and Discovery Center. Furthermore, it is not near any the inner city train system (i.e. MRT) in Bangkok. However, the low price and the value-for-money room and board is well worth it. Anyway, the bell boys are very helpful in getting us metered taxis which are very cheap as opposed to "negotiated fixed price" taxis which are rip-offs. The hotel service was also really good. Truly a value for money hotel.

Location is away from shopping and tourist areas but is only 10 minutes walk from skytrain. Hotel was good except housekeeping department is letting it down. The floor badly needed vacuuming but this was never done, and on one day my room was not made up at all. They also unnecessarily change linen every day and don't have the card in the room to place on the bed if you want to say this is unnecessary - suggesting this hotel is not as environmentally concious as others. I would only return if housekeeping standards improved.

The hotel is very clean and well presented. The staff is genuinly friendly and will go out of their way to assist you. The rooms are clean but not brand new. Our strategy here is to 'save' on the hotel price by staying in twin tower, (the hotels near shopping area is more expensive, probably over utilized, small & old), and use it to cover all our taxi fares. Thanks.

We enjoyed the swimming pool and breakfast was excellent. We had to take a taxi to go to a restaurant outside the hotel, visit the shopping centres and the Grand Palace, the railway station but everything was in the neighbourhood (only ten or fifteen minutes driving 100 bath). Bedroom was a pleasant surprise. Clean, comfy. Breakfast was a little disappointing, with average variety that does not really vary. Distance to the nearest BTS station is actually quite far. The room sizes and facilities were beyong a 3 star hotel. Perhap a 4 star wil be more appropriate. The breakfast comes with many varieties and is enough to drool me for more. The location of the hotel is acceptable with a 10mins walk to the nearest BTS and about 15mins to the shopping paradizes (MBK, etc). The Spa open till 2am in the morning in which facilitate its tourist to go for a wonderful relaxation after a tired shopping battle. There are some cafeteria and dessert's outlet along the main road in front of the hotel which provide good coffee and food at an economical price. The staffs(Ladies) at the reception(Cashier) are not really friendly. It seems like they have almost forgotten who is the consumer and the real contributor to their salaries. The corridor is stinky with a kind of "smell" which can be annoying. This is especially so on the "superior" and "Smoking" floor. The bellboy at the hotel is not reliable as I thought they should be. If you are offered a Taxi or Tut Tut package from them, you should never take it up as they are never beneficial to the tourist. The price offered are usually higher than what you can get directly from the taxi driver(Moving by meter). Perhap taking advantage of the bellboy as a translator will be much better. The Gym is not for free and need to paid separately before you can have access to it. This kind of management differ from many of the other hotel that I ever come across before. Never take the taxi and Tut Tut that are qu

The hotel should provide hot water in every room or at least a decent boiling jug as these can be found on other low budget hotels which is cheaper than Twin Hotel. They should not charge me 30 baht for hot water. It is not the price but these are basic requirement of a hotel. Location of the hotel is not very ideal, maybe they should provide ferry service to town every, say, 2 or 3 hours like some budget Hong Kong hotels which are situated far away from town or the main shopping belt. People who go to bangkok are usually the shopaholics according to reliable surveys.Otherwise, this hotel is really value for money. Will visit again.

We stayed at this hotel in 2003. Overall, it was very good value for money and we would stay there again if we travel back to Bangkok. The room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good. Location was good for the main train station if you need to go to Chiang Mai, Ayutthaya, down south etc., but it was a long walk to get to the Skytrain station. However, hotel had a complimentary large tuk-tuk to take you to one of the big duty-free stores, so from there you could do some shopping, catch a skytrain etc.. Lots of tuk-tuk and taxis available outside the hotel on the road, but they will try and convince you that the main train station is too far to walk to (only takes a few minutes). Pool was also nice, service was good (they have a good security box room near reception). This hotel is rated as a three star hotel, which was the same that it was rated in 2003. I would rate it as somewhere between a three and four star hotel.
