The stay is enjoyable. The only negative report is no free Wi-Fi. We stayed at Sofitel in Hanoi, Siem Riep and Saigon and were provided with free Wi-Fi, as with all the Hotels in North America and Europe. We feel the Bangkok Sofitel should progress with the rest.

The level of the facility (bedroom, bathroom, elevator) and the service while checking in/out was not that of a international five star hotel, but rather a local four star hotel. Furthermore, the room was always noisy because of the adjacent highway road. I felt that a lot of improvement needs to be done if it was to continue using the Sofitel brand.

This hotel is good access to MRT and motor-way. If you want to go to any place, convinience to move there. Check-in and check-out process also fast and good.

This is one of the best hotel I have stayed compared to other 5 stars hotels that I have stayed in Germany, France, and Japan. Services are excellent with various discounts and amenities that are available to hotel guests including discounts to shopping at Central Department stores and complimentary shuttle bus service to downtown Bangkok. Package that includes breakfast buffet is worthed. The hotel offers a variety of breakfast buffet including Western, Thai, and Chinese style breakfast. What is even more thoughtful is that the hotel provides complimentary bottled spring water for every night that we stayed. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel offers the best Chinese food anywhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay there again the next time I fly to Bangkok.

I have stayed at the Sofitel Centara Grand many times. The staff is very friendly as soon as you get out of your taxi. The morning breakfast buffets is one of the best that I have found in my travels in Southest Asia. The hotel is perfectly located for shopping and easy to use the underground metro. I call the Sofitel Centara Grand, my home in Bangkok

We were very impressed with our stay. The rooms were quiet, spacious, clean and the sheets were very soft. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The location is great because it is next to a mall. We felt very safe and the staff was friendly. The only thing we weren't impressed with is that the concierge staff were not very helpful, they always seemed preoccupied.

We stopped for 3 nights at the hotel and stayed in the Dynasty Room which included access to the Dynasty Club lounge, we had great breakfast there each morning, but didn't use the club lounge at night. The swimming pool was excellent and the service was nery good. Had lunch in the Thai restaurant by the pool and the food was some of the best we have had. Staff very friendly and helpful. We would recommend the hotel and would definately stay there again.

This hotel's position might not suit everyone as it is out of central Bangkok. However it has easy access to the skytrain and taxis are inexpensive . Adjacent to an excellent shopping Mall with many inexpensive chain restaurants.A haven in the middle of busy traffic.

Appreciate its location near Don Muang Airport; would be too far from the new airport though. Being near to the MRT and skytrain and adjacent to a big shopping centre makes it possibly still worth a return stay.

Good internet rate. Friendly staff. Decent shopping mall next door. Lotus is across the street. This hotel DOES NOT have an airport shuttle. The website listed hotel service of "airport transfer" is a bit misleading. They mean you can pay 800 Baht (US$20) for one of the hotel cars to take you to the airport (10 minute drive). If you have an early morning flight you will have great difficulty finding a taxi to the airport (about 200 Baht) and will have to use the expensive hotel car.

No hesitation whatsoever to give this one a superior rating. this was one of our great discoveries on this trip. 15 min fromthe airport; breakfast array was fabulous (included w/the price of the room); 5 minutes walking dist from a great shopping mall; reasonably close to a fabulous local flea market frequented by both tourists and locals (Chatuchak). i'd definitely recommend this one to anyone visiting your site. worth every baht spent. definitely great value for our bucks. within walking distance to sky train or super clean metro. what more. fitness was ample.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We were very impressed when we arrived by the way we were shown to our room and all the luggage was taken for us. The food was first class. The only negative comment was that we booked a trip to the Palace which was most enjoyable but when the visit was over, we were not brought straight back to the Hotel but had to endure a visit to a diamond factory. We most definitely should have been told this would happen before we paid for the visit to the Palace because we would not have gone. This was not the fault of the Hotel BUT it was arranged in the lobby and reflects poorly on the Hotel in my view.

Liked most - The hospitality and assistance provided by working staff encountered made the stay most comfortable. The tour desk in particular for thier advise and going out of thier way to make arrangements for river cruise on one of the most busiest days i.e. Loy Krathong was most memorable. The convenience and comfort of complimentary transportation arrangement to and from Chatuchak weekend market and the City was most welcomed as it avoided the stress of uncertainty in taking public transport in a new place.
