Silom Village Inn met every expectation. It is ideally located in the heart of commercial Bangkok, in walking distance of the Chao Phya River and the Sky Train station. All the shops of Silom Village itself makes staying there a bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the atmosphere of a small hotel. We have already recommended Silom Village Inn to friends and will plan to stay there again....

Room smelt of smoke which made it feel unclean. Excellent location and Italian restaurant next door makes really good pizzas. Nice staff.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. This is a good, comfortable hotel and good location as it is on Silom road and surrounded by numbers of shops and restaurants

Average hotel in tourist area. Dining possibilities around the corner, but within 5 minutes walking distance there are superior and exquisite restaurants, which are not announced. Personnel not very interested. Maintenance rooms poor.

It looked a bit run down, i got a shock when i stepped into the room. Got used to it after a while tho. One night, the air cond wasnt working. I complained the next morning, and they fixed it; but then had problem with water supply. i had to wait for 30 mins before the water came back. One of their male staffs wasnt very friendly which i found it strange becasue Thailand is a land of SMILE!

The room was decent enough for a "deluxe" but the air conditioning was pretty awful, having it switched on didn't seem to make a difference and on the last day it started spewing out ice. No view, window was of a wall a few metres away. Food in the restaurant outside was good, breakfast wasn't great if you don't like a fry up.

Although rather a basic hotel, it is clean, friendly and well positioned on Silom Road for pat pong, Lumpini Park for the night market/food stalls and Lumpini Kick Boxing Arena. There is no pool, but Silom Village includes artisans, traditional dancing and food. Fantastic real Thai massage. All in all a great find.

We arrived in Bangkok at about 6am from 9 hour bus journey, we were tired, and stiff from lack of sleep, and after simple enquiry we were able to checked-in at 7.30am!(without the extra cost). I was very greatful by the hotel's understanding. What I like most is 7 Eleven is just downstairs (we were hungry in the middle of night) and it's near the Skytrain, about 5-10 minutes walk. Will recommend it.

The standard room is pretty poor quality wise. The view was a concrete wall. Pretty standard stuff. Just a little too far from the action. Not worth the money. Will stay somewhere else next time.

Rooms small, no fitness centre, no internet in rooms, but a bit pricey for what you get.

The Panorama Restaurant was changed to a very exclusive restaurant, was great quality, but not what I need during a leisure stay. Suggest to offer cheaper options at the menu....
