The board walk around swimming pool was dangerously slippery when wet and falls are caused! poor detail from front desk about alternative poblic transport!usual information --get a taxi ---when other transport was available. Todd McClurkan, United States
Sauna/Thai massage was excellent. Very good and varied breakfast. Towels were a bit shabby but otherwise the room was terrific. The hotel is a bit removed from the main stuff, but this results that it is quiet. Plus, once you get the knack of it, it is not actually that far away. Good value for money. Good value for money huge room, huge bed ,would have slept 2 adults & 2 children! Bathroom needed a little upgrade though ? However we arrived very early morning after travelling all day & night, very tired & my wife very travel sick but were almost immediately booked in to our room at no extra cost ( a huge relief to my wife! ) Balcony with great views of the river. Incredible breakfasts not to be missed, catered for people from all countries.Great location so close to the very convenient public river ferry to take you to many of the tourist sites Royal Palace & various temples (wats)etc. Reception staff very professional but lacking in good English but bell boys & door staff more than made up for this. Lovely river terrace for evening eating but sadly while we were there no atmosphere but discovered a place next door called the River View which was great at night for food & live music. All in all a great hotel would recommened & definitely stay there again. A pleasing hotel, located on the west bank of the river in Bangkok. We had a riverside-view room with a nice terrace where we could sip Singha beer and watch the myriad of boats go by. It is not in the centre of Bangkok, so many will not find the location to their liking. It is, however, situated along the river and the view is magnificent. Very, very helpful Thai staff. Good knowledge of English. Getting taxis from the hotel is never a problem. It is just as easy (and cheaper) to haul a cab just on the outside of the hotel. A HotelTravel.com Member, Norway

I was recommended this hotel and have stayed in it three times during the past three weeks. For the money it was excellent and would certainly recommend it to friends. As a solo traveller I felt safe and did not feel embarrassed on my own to go into the bar, etc. Peter Bruce, Australia
The hotel is a little out of the way, which seemed a disadvantage at first, but then progressively became a plus, for its being right on the river, having excellent public and private ferry facilities, and being in an area, Bangplad, little accustomed to tourists, with an eating style not just typically Thai, not just authentically Thai, but actually Bangkokian Thai to a T. The other great advantage is that the hotel is so aware of the perceived disadvantage of distance, that it does luxury very cheaply. I will return. A HotelTravel.com Member, Germany
The hotel left me in a superior room, though i presented a voucher for a deluxe room. They made me move at 19.30 in the evening after finally realising their mistake. William jackson, United Kingdom
