Rated #137 for all Bangkok hotels
It is located in a nice but not so busy area, with nice trees around which makes the place looks cool. It is vakue for money and is not far from famous locations like the Grand Palace, Vimansek Palace, Khaosan Road and the Menam Chao Phraya. It is easy to get taxi from the place and concierge staff were helpful and cheerful. The breakfast spread met my expectations and during my 4 days; stay, I had always enjoyed having breakfast at the restaurant on the ground floor, with its nice new decor. It was my second time staying at Larn Luarng and I look forward to the next stay in the near future....

Excellent hotel for the price. Only drawback is that there aren't any restaurants within walking distance, but we ate in the hotel and the food was good. We were able to walk to the National Museum and the Ducit Palace and Throne Room.

Mostly excellent, but taxi service was poor. Easier and cheaper to walk out and get own taxi. Late checkout to 6pm was much appreciated

it is not very very easy to find this hotel if you take the Airport Express 2. The bus stops about 500 meters away from the hotel but to take a airport bus is still recommended for the low cost. The facilities of the hotel are better than expected. Breakfast is good, with big variety. Swimming pool closes early. It will cost only about 70-80 Baht and 20 minutes by taxi from the hotel to the south bus station.

The room (Suite on Princess Floor) was good but unnecessarily big. We did not use two of the three rooms most of the time. Maybe next time we should book a standard room. The hotel is not very well located for tourists (probably is fine for business travellers). Getting to shopping areas and tourist attractions was not very easy. Finding a taxi was a problem on a business day. Staff are great, helpful and efficient. An orchid on our bed was very unexpected and so lovely.

Cost of room was very reasonable, but cost of extras (especially laundry service, internet access and meals) was very high. Some staff were very polite and courteous, where others were just OK. Location was fine for my purposes but a bit "out of the way" in general. The free breakfast was very diverse. The bakery was also very good and reasonably priced.

The price of laundry is virging on criminal. I paid more for my washing $130 than for 3 nights accommodation. My washing only consisted of tshirts and underwear etc from travelling around asia, the cost was more than the value of the clothes.I wouldnt advise anyone in my business circles to stay at Dusit hotels if this is the way add ons are charged. You must remeber that whilst you have a good reputation there are average people who want to stay and not be over charged. Even a 5* hotel where i stayed in Phuket only charges 450B for a decent amount of washing.
Please forward to the operational board of Dusit hotels.
