Very good rooms. Got a smoking room instead of non smoking since we checked in late, but we really enjoyed the very large room and the friendly staff. Would strongly recommend this hotel....

Nice spacious room, bathroom with seperate bath tub and shower, good matrace, well furnished, TV with 2 movie channels and 4 international world wide broadcasting channels, including "Deutsche Welle" from my country Germany. What I liked most: the view on Bangkok from 23rd floor !

The room and bath - room were spacy and clean.Often , 5-8 times a day, there came a very bad smell out of the waste water pipe into the bath room and the room. Sometimes there were holes and spots in the bedspreads and coverlets.. Staff in the breakfast area were helpless and did not recognize the individual wishes of the guests, offered cakes were old and dry.Disadvantage: no room safe, only near cashier.Hotel wanted extra charge of 800 Baht per night for not listed guests at check in. 2 reception managers staff told personal guest details to other persons without my permission.I will never stay at hotel Royal Benja again and can not recommend it at all..Hotel prize is at least 10 US $ too high.

We was bitterly disapointed to arrive to find that the swimming pool was out of action during our stay due to repairs being carried out. With two famalies consisting of 4 children this was a major factor in choosing this hotel,we felt dissapointed that we was not informed of this and offered alternative accomodation. The hotel is also in need of front desk staff being trained in customer care, and show a willing ness to help and deal with customer queeries and not be abrubt and show a not my problem attitude.

This hotel is mostly good, the one thing which I feel could be improved is that there is never enough hot water for the bath.

best of all, location, near MBK, Siam center etc. Rooms big and staff nice and helpful. very nice traveldesk lady. Surrondings not so nice at evenings. Many girls who waited for your money, and aggresive salesmens and womens on Sukhumvit road 200 m from hotel. But in total very priceworth hotel with high standard ( buffébreakfast very nice )

Huge rooms, good location near to Nana BTS station, breakfast adequate, internet connection a bit of a pain as they ask for a Bht2,000 deposit for the modem and you have to buy a connection card. All in all terrific value for money, have stayed here many times and will stay again

Overall, the rooms were clean and fairly large. Though i requested a non-smoking room my room did smell like smoke. I was only in the room for 3 days and 2 nights. It was distrubing that they charged me a 500 baht guest fee whenver i brought a guest to my room. At first it was embarassing.

The room is large. Breakfast is OK with same dishes for everyday. Internet fee is so expensive. The road to hotel is so small and crowed. The room makers have problem on English. The staffs' coordination is not good, therefore, guest has to wait for long time for their processing, especially when they change working shift.

The room and bathroom were large, clean and recently renovated. It also appeared quite sound -proof as it was quiet and relaxing during the day and evening when sleeping. The hotel seemed to cater for large tour groups, but as an individual I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was superb, with a range of many foods and dishes, catering for different tastes. The hotel location is close to everything, just a few minutes walk to Nana skyrail and night markets line the street of Sukhumvit, where everything can be found. It's also a short walk to Foodland and Seven Eleven. The staff were pleasant and courteous, though a little impersonal with it being such a large hotel. I only encountered one issue during my stay, when checking out there were beverages on my bill which I did not have, so check your bill when leaving. They did however, apologise when the issue was resolved.

Overall the Benja is great value for money, and well located close to restaurants. Staff were helpful, and breakfast is an excellent spread. The smell in the hotel corridors (from the cleaning materials?) is the only negative factor.

The initial room we were allocated had an awful smell - worse than anywhere on the street. When we complained they would not send anyone to check it, and would not change the room. We complained numerous times over the first 24 hours and eventually were given a nother room (they closed the whole smelly floor). We asked for some sort of compensation but were basically told that as we had paid a cheaper price there was nothing they would do. The 'Duty Manager' even asked us 'why are you telling me this now?' when we tracked him down in the second day. There was previously no manager available to talk to, only young reception staff who couldn't do anything about our problem. I wouln't stay there again, no matter what the price. We also overheard several other parties complaining bitterly at reception, about various things, nearly every time we were there.
