One extra bed was requested and arrangement made was excellent when checking-in. However, the front desk manager seemed not to understand anything about flight re-booking/reschedule. Inspite of several reminders and explanations, she was not able to help me out with my flight rescheduling. They need to be trained and know absolute details of flight arrangements.

I have stayed at Rembrandt several times previously and will definitely continue to use it as I believe it is great value for money. Whilst not a true five star hotel it has excellent facilities, especially the restaurants, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
A small number of criticisms:-
1. the safe would not lock - this was quickly attended to and fixed
2. the air con stuck on high and was too cold - again this was quickly fixed
3. although I was on holiday there were documents which I needed to sign urgently. When I went to the business centre the staff on duty was actually from reception covering whilst the regular staff were at lunch. Whilst helpful she was unable to assist and I had to wait until the regular staff came back on duty. I tried to forward emails to the business centre and these kept bouncing back as the attachments were too large (5MB+). I needed the attachments printed out and I had to get the sender to break individual attachments down into smaller sizes. I spent 3 1/2 hours on something which should taken no more than 30 minutes. clearly the set up of the centre's mailbox does not support true business needs. I also feel that the printers and scanner are more suitable for home use than business use.
I am extremely positive about this hotel but found the business center experience very frustratingHotel Facilities

I chose this hotel for a one night stop-over in Bangkok (2 persons) and was pleasantly surprised by the clean and relaxed environment, I could have stayed longer. I was advised that there was scheduled renovation taking place in areas that would not disrupt our stay, they were correct. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros.:
1. After checking out we still had access to shower facilities until 21.30 so we could freshen up before our late flight.
2. Close to Sky rail (10 minute walk) for access to down-town.
3. Easy access from airport.
4. Wireless internet.
5. Good security
Standard buffet style breakfast, reasonable selection and busy.
Standard selection of bar snacks, never ate in restaurant.
Cons.:
We didn’t find any, I’d stay there again.
Entrance clean and tidy. Room clean, carpeted I prefer a wood/stone finish as in the bathroom because it feels cleaner. Taxis outside and skey rail 10 minute walk.Hotel Facilities

The location was convenient especially for a first time visitor to bangkok like me. It was close to BTS, convenience store, halal food restaurant as well as tailors. I will surely stay there again in my next visit as well as recommend others who want to visit bangkok. The only problem we encountered was I had earlier requested for a non-smoking room with a double bed but when we checked in, we were informed that the rooms were not available. After we insisted, they finally upgraded us to the executive floor with the double bed at no extra cost.
And I especially like the orchids and the potpourri bag they left on the bed, the small surprises i got every evening we returned to the hotelHotel Facilities

We arrived just after midnight due to a late flight and found that the hotel staff were still there ready to meet any guests. Quickly shown our room, they upgraded us to the executive floor on the 25th due to being very full. A complimentry continental breakfast which we had delivered to our room arrived as specified. The room was great, nice well layed out bathroom and very clean all round, although this was the exec room. The hotel is located on Soi 18 some 100m up from Sukumvit road. The emporium shopping mall is a short taxi ride away, but the traffic is hell on the main road and the hotel is really located between skytrains.On a cool day you could walk it. I left my mobile phone in the back seat of the taxi that I boarded from the front of the hotel to a client's premises. What made matters worse, was that the phone was in silent mode. However, because it was standard procedure for the hotel to take down the details of every taxi boarded by the hotel's guests for security reasons; the hotel staff succeeded in locating the taxi driver. My phone was duly returned to me early the next morning. Otherwise, I would not only have lost an expensive mobile phone but all the data, contacts, emails and messages in it; which could have been even more detrimental. Kudos to the staff and managers of Rembrandt Hotel, Bangkok for their prompt action and more than excellent service! Definitely my choice of hotel on my next stay in Bangkok.Hotel Facilities

A very well managed hotel by very efficient staff. They will even remember you when you check in if you are a frequent visitor. The hotel has one of the best East Indian fine dinning there is and is located on the top on the 27th floor. And if you are a golfer like me you will love the location as minutes away walking is a driving range. Great location and value for money. Only downside is if you have a Thai wife or girlfriend the staff have a tendency to overkill the security issue. Better over kill than under kill!
