A well managed hotel. The building is maintained to a high standard right down to the last detail. Staff are helpful and clearly well trained. I cannot think of a negative comment....

The hotel has improved in the last one or two years. I stayed there maybe ten times now over the years, and the staff is getting nicer and more service minded in the last years! The hotel is not cheap, but the location is good.

I have stayed at Rembrandt several times previously and will definitely continue to use it as I believe it is great value for money. Whilst not a true five star hotel it has excellent facilities, especially the restaurants, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
A small number of criticisms:-
1. the safe would not lock - this was quickly attended to and fixed
2. the air con stuck on high and was too cold - again this was quickly fixed
3. although I was on holiday there were documents which I needed to sign urgently. When I went to the business centre the staff on duty was actually from reception covering whilst the regular staff were at lunch. Whilst helpful she was unable to assist and I had to wait until the regular staff came back on duty. I tried to forward emails to the business centre and these kept bouncing back as the attachments were too large (5MB+). I needed the attachments printed out and I had to get the sender to break individual attachments down into smaller sizes. I spent 3 1/2 hours on something which should taken no more than 30 minutes. clearly the set up of the centre's mailbox does not support true business needs. I also feel that the printers and scanner are more suitable for home use than business use.
I am extremely positive about this hotel but found the business center experience very frustrating

Internet connection (wifi) poor. Air conditioning was frigid. Effort by maintenance to fix it was effective -- for about three hours. Fitness equipment antiquated. Indian restaurant wonderful with great staff and great food.

I chose this hotel for a one night stop-over in Bangkok (2 persons) and was pleasantly surprised by the clean and relaxed environment, I could have stayed longer. I was advised that there was scheduled renovation taking place in areas that would not disrupt our stay, they were correct. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros.:
1. After checking out we still had access to shower facilities until 21.30 so we could freshen up before our late flight.
2. Close to Sky rail (10 minute walk) for access to down-town.
3. Easy access from airport.
4. Wireless internet.
5. Good security
Standard buffet style breakfast, reasonable selection and busy.
Standard selection of bar snacks, never ate in restaurant.
Cons.:
We didn’t find any, I’d stay there again.
Entrance clean and tidy. Room clean, carpeted I prefer a wood/stone finish as in the bathroom because it feels cleaner. Taxis outside and skey rail 10 minute walk.

The location was convenient especially for a first time visitor to bangkok like me. It was close to BTS, convenience store, halal food restaurant as well as tailors. I will surely stay there again in my next visit as well as recommend others who want to visit bangkok. The only problem we encountered was I had earlier requested for a non-smoking room with a double bed but when we checked in, we were informed that the rooms were not available. After we insisted, they finally upgraded us to the executive floor with the double bed at no extra cost.
And I especially like the orchids and the potpourri bag they left on the bed, the small surprises i got every evening we returned to the hotel

We arrived just after midnight due to a late flight and found that the hotel staff were still there ready to meet any guests. Quickly shown our room, they upgraded us to the executive floor on the 25th due to being very full. A complimentry continental breakfast which we had delivered to our room arrived as specified. The room was great, nice well layed out bathroom and very clean all round, although this was the exec room. The hotel is located on Soi 18 some 100m up from Sukumvit road. The emporium shopping mall is a short taxi ride away, but the traffic is hell on the main road and the hotel is really located between skytrains. On a cool day you could walk it. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. I'll stay there again.

King size bed, 2 chairs, a desk, complimentary bottles of water, tea, and coffee, tv. Their breakfast buffet was great. The pool was nice and clean and the pool staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel spa was very nice. The hotel was in walking distance to the BTS skytrain, the Emporium Mall, as well as several restaurants and bars. The tour desk helped us put together some nice packages. Our only suggestion would be to improve the internet service, but it's vacation so a few days without email wasn't so bad.

Excellant value for money for the standard and service. Good, friendly and courteous staff willing to assist at all times. Large reception area with no annoying background music just the quiet sound of twittering of birds. Relaxing within lobby lounge area. Swimming pool area a bit basic but very clean and well maintained and good bar staff. Only 5 minutes walk to the main road and sky train station.

My favorite hotel in Bangkok. I have stayed here many times and its feels like coming home everytime. Superfriendly and professional staff and Fresh and clean, big rooms and fully equipped. Fast checkin and checkout, Nice pool, good restaurants, shops. Quiet street but still close to "everything", easy to get a taxi or tuk tuk. Luxury for a reasonable amount of money.

Friendly staff, requests for repair (light bulb) followed in less than 15 minutes. Walking distance to Sky train station but still far enough away from traffic noise on Sukhumvit Road. Hotel shuttle to Sukhumvit road. Not enough coordination between "wireless" (in the executive lounge) and "wired" access in executive rooms (one needs obvioulsy 2 access codes!)

Staff were remarkably helpful when we asked for Thai translations for restaurant addresses, making of reservations etc. Rooms were spacious and well kept, though my bedsheets smelled a bit of cigarette smoke.
