Everything was top notch, but you need a map, it's soooo big! :)) Be aware that hotel drivers will 'en route' take you to somewhere they recommend, enabling them to get comission....

It was huge!!!! Make sure you stay in main tower where front check in desk is. It's either #1 or A. Oterwise you are clear on the other side of complex. Food is wide range. When there are groups there the morning buffet is packed and sometimes you have to wait for table. Otherwise, rooms are large and comfortable. I don't think i would recommend or stay again though since there are so many to choose from.

Prince Palace was well above what I expected considering we paid approx. $60 AUD a night for a twin room. The complex is beautiful and everything is immaculately cared for, the rooms are nice but the only downfall was a regular deafening banging sound which I can only assume was washing falling through the laundry chute but this wasn't a major headache by any means. The hotel is conveniently located near all the major tourist locations, the staff are always lovely and more than happy to have a chat and the pool with the bar is simply superb at night. The prices of food and drink within the hotel were a little high in comparison to other hotels I've stayed in around Thailand but again this wasn't a major issue at the end of the day. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Prince Palace and for a price like that for what could be considered by some as a 4 star hotel is fantastic.

We arrived at the hotel around 9pm after travelling several hours only to be told that we were in the wrong tower and that we would have to walk to the other tower to check in. We were given little instruction on where to go, there was no signage, and we were made to carry our own bags the whole way as well as up to the room after we had finally checked in. Room service was also very poor, 80% of the items on the menu which said available 24hrs were in fact not, then when we did get our food we were asked to pay cash for it instead of charging it to the room, this was even after we were asked to pay a 1000baht deposit for that very purpose. Overall we were very unhappy with the service and the quality of the hotel.

Very bad encounter on my first stay here. Upon check-in, I found out that the room air-conditioning are not functioning. So I called the receiptionist which are not helpful and courtesty enough to help and I have to go down and up to the 23rd not less than 3 three times to solve this matter. The time I checked-in is about 4.50pm (23-02-07). The worst was the two girls mending the check-in counter was not friendly and helpful. Imaging, I was asked to go down from my room on the 23rs floor to the receiption for 3 times. I was asked to wait for the technican to check on the air-cond. which never come for nearly 45mins. I request the receptionist to change to another room and they replied that there are no room left for the type that I booked. After about 20mins later, still no technican came. This left me with no choice and called the front desk manager and and less than 2 mins the tehnican came and found the air-conditioer is at faults there is nothing can be done. Than only at tihis time, they gave me another of the same type (which was supppose not available, strange indeed?). I even have to go down to get the key card to the new room. I am a businessman and went travelling and staying in hotels almost every month. Sometimes, I stay in hoetls of 3 to 5 stars depending on the location of my business area in Bangkok. The worst is, this is the first time I ever encounter the recepionist (2 girls in their early 20's and a young man also early 20's handling and talking to che

I chose this hotel because it was ranked higher than Chaophya Park, a hotel I had stayed on numerous occasions. However, I was disappointed that it does not match Chaophya Park on service, cleanliness and easy access to facilities. Room is of good size, however the wallpaper were a bit old and peeling. Restaurants are good but not exceptional. Bar does not have an appealing atmosphere. Prince Palace is located in what seems like a 'Thai wet market' environment which may appeal to some people. Because its main lobby is on the 11th floor, I was at times concerned about security when I noticed people coming in and out freely. Outsiders are able to access floors by bypassing the reception. Personally, I have a stronger preference for Chaophya Park Hotel.

Prince Palace hotel offers outstanding value for money. The hotel rooms and facilities are very much like a decent international business-type hotel (think Marriott or Hilton) in most cities. The swimming pool is pretty good, the breakfast is generous and offers a wide choice, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The main eccentricity of the place is that the reception lobby is up on floor 11 of the Boa Bee Towers building, which took us by surprise a little when we arrived but doesn't exactly cause any hardship. The location seems fairly central, in a bustling part of Bangkok. A short, cheap taxi ride (or cheaper, more death-defying tuk-tuk) took us anywhere that we wanted to go to. We've also stayed in the Royal Orchid Sheraton in Bangkok, which has a brilliant riverside location and excellent 5* service; but at about a fifth of the price, the Prince Palace is 80% as good, and we'd certainly stay here again.

This was the last hotel my husband and I stayed in during our honeymoon in Thailand and it is the one we were most disappointed with. We had a room that was covered in mould and ripped paper, we had requested a queen bed but got 2 singles (the hotel's accommodation was to put the beds together, the television selection was shoddy at best and we went to another hotel for dinner because there wasn't anyone at the prince Palace! We expected better based on the reviews and pictures featured on the website but got into Bangkok too late to make any changes.

The location is rather bad. Far away from all key areas and the hotel is of poor quality. The rooms' size is decent but in need of upgrading. The staff was very indifferent to requests. The swimmimg pool is good and pleasant.
