I love the place - very clean and spacious. It's walking distance to cheap shopping places including night market. The map in the internet could be improved as taxi driver from airport did not know. When hotel gave me a card with map,it made a lot of difference in taking taxis....

Like the location but dissapointed that CNN channel of TV not working coffee machines should be put in the rooms and hairdryers would make the stay more pleasant will go again if these things are included otherwise there are hotels in the area that offer.

Less cockroaches and less bed bugs in the hotel rooms please. More efficiency on cleanliness of room service food such as plates and utensils after eating. It was left there for days and nobody bothered to clean it. Apart from that, it was fine. Thank you.

Despite all the negative feed back from the review,my stay at PJ Watergate has been a pleasant one. Do not compare to a 4 or 5 star service, you will find yourself in a most relaxing mood.Easy excess to all except to skytrain.Definately will be back.

Satisfied with the cleanliness of this hotel. Poor room view even we change our room for 2nd times -residential view when u look out the window (ppl cooking), very near.. Location -5 minutes walk to shopping area, cheap trading area. Lots of massage center around with reasonable prices. Local thai foods also can find around this hotel. Will stay in this hotel again.

I find this small hotel to be of excellent value, situated in a the centre of Pratunam District area.. it has small rooms but wonderful service and friendly staff...Breakfast is also great value for money...I stay at this hotel at least four (4) times each year and would recommend it unconditionally for travellers on a budget that like value for their money.

I rated facilities as poor because the computer facility caused me a problem due to the printer being out of order and there being no sign to say that it was out of order. This caused me a great problem which I wil mot go into here, suffice to say it caused me a huge problem when I tried t oprint and then terminated my log in.
Reastaurant was rated poor because the breakfast food was mostly cold, like cold fried eggs, cold ham, cold fried potatao etc. The only things hot were the toast, cofee and tea.
I have stayed at the PJ Watergate several times and my main complaint is that the standard of breakfast (hot) has gone way down. Other hotels, such as the Armona, are able to keep their food piping hot.
There are also many little things that detract such as repairs to shower heads, and general things like the TV not being checked for the chanel settings etc.
However, the hotel is fair value, the staff excellent and I will stay there again but will not eat the breakfast if what is supposed to be hot is cold.

The price is good and resonable, the room is clean for the second visit but the first time the room was little smelly. Overall I like the hotel and don't mind to book there for the next trip. I go to thailand twice a month. TYhe staffs is OK not smile that much. Hope they can be little friendlier next time.

Great place to stay, if you want to walk around Siam. Close to the cheap places to buy Thai handcrafts. But, going there by taxi could be troublesome, so bring the number of the hotel with you. I WILL stay there again.

We are staying on the ground floor. There are a lot of insects in the bathtub every morning. And the air refresher was awful. The smell is terrible. But for that price, I dont expect much.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Some even helped to search for my sister's missing earring which she dropped at the carpark. Its location is the best, situated at the heart of Pratunam and just a crossing to the best shopping area in Bangkok. With daily breakfast thrown in, it was one of the best for budget travellers like me. Thumbs up!!

The hotel looks neat and tidy though the surrounding looks not clean. However, the linens are full of strong smoke flavor and even my clothes and belongs are with the discusting flavor after I left the hotel.

The positive; Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent for a budget hotel. Rooms are clean. Location is great if you want to be around Pratuman. Quiet on the higher floors. Great shopping and street-food close by.
The Negative; This hotel is hard to find for taxi drivers as it is located behind the main road within a maze of one way streets. If you are going to the airport the bell boy contacts the rip-off taxi drivers that stand around outside the hotel. They charge you 400bht and refuse to put the meter on. The real price is about 150bht with the meter. Dont book a room on the ground floor as it there is live band playing outside your room , they are very dark and smell of mould. There is no safe in the room so you have to mess around at the reception with your valuables which is irritating. Watch out in the rainy season as the road floods outside the hotel cutting you off unless you take off you shoes and socks and wade through the dirty flood water. The view f

My lasting impression of the hotel will be the funny view from my room. When i opened the window i was greeted by a brick wall 1 inch back. All the staff were very friendly and made me want to spend more time at the hotel. I would have no hesitation of staying there in the future.

Dont get a room on the first floor (ground floor) as there is only one small window looking out to a brick wall. Rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor are better. Breakfast is the best i tried for a budget hotel. If it rains too much the front of the hotel floods and you have to paddle through the dirty water to get to the main street. I thought the could have sorted this out by now.. Difficult to find if you dont know the area but its the best hotel for the price ive stayed in.

The place is clean, service not bad. Only disadvantage is the location. It's not near to the train station and shopping area. Overall, consider slightly above average for the price that we paid. Very nice breakfast:)

The hotel is located close to shopping area and is quite convenient. But the trade off is that some taxi drivers don't know the location and need to be directed. It's advisable to have someone write the hotel name and address in Thai so that you can show to taxi driver to get back to hotel.
