We loved our stay at the Pathumwan Princess! The staff were really friendly and helpful, the location was excellent (especially since we love shopping in MBK and the Siam Square area), the food at the hotel's dining outlets was really good and reasonably priced, and the newly renovated room was chic, comfortable and clean. There was some noise due to on-going renovation works in the hotel, but it did not bother us as we were out most of the day anyway. The front desk happily upgraded us to their new deluxe room upon discovering that it was our wedding anniversary! All in all, a really wonderful stay. We'd definitely go back again!

The is the second time we stayed here.Right in the center of all the shops, eating places, its not to far from the Hard Rock Cafe, Siam Center, Siam Paragon, as well as the Siam Center. By far its the best choice among all the hotels if you are staying in Bangkok. We will always stay here, everytime we come to Bangkok. Thats fore sure !!!

Ideal location to MBK shopping centre for those that feel the need to shop. Quality of room was excellent, we were in a newly renovated room and could not fault it. Breakfast variety was large enough to suit everyones needs. Tour desk extremely helpful. Hotel desk staff very accommodating, we had a late 3pm check-out to enable us to go on a morning 1/2 day tour. Highly recommend to all travellers.

When we checked-in and we told front desk clerks that this is our 3rd times staying in this hotel and possible to upgrade with a better rooms. They said hotel is solely booked therefore, they can not upgraded us. My brother-in-law were there at the same time but he booked with one of my friend in Bangkok, he paid the same rate as we did but was on 28th floor and interior of his room is very high tech and remodeled. Seem like hotel does not care of the returning guests. Buffet was okay and better quaility foods were served in 2005 & 2006 then now.

The location was very good and the facilities excellent. The rooms were abit worn but clean. Unfortunately our first room (standard room) smelled very bad from glue, paint or something which gave us all headache. We were able to change room and were upgraded to a suite. This we appreciated.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic facilities. We were upgraded to the premier level and the rooms were amazing. However the superior rooms were still very nice. This hotel is huge and has everything you could possibly need. It is right next door to MBK shopping centre and a 5-10 minute walk to a few other big shopping centres. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay here again.

I have to say this is a beautiful hotel with terrific facilities, however smokers beware this is a non smoking hotel, which is not adequately advertised, there is a smoking room on the ground floor, and an area on the 8th floor however the doors are closed at 10 o'clock, I was extremely angry that I had not been advised of this especially as I requested a smoking room, so if you look forward to sitting back relaxing with a drink and a cigarette forget it.

Stayed in an execuplus suite, previously having stayed in superior room. The room itself was excellent, spacious, quiet and with a very comfortable bed (nowhere near as hard others seem to be in Thailand). Location is of course perfect for shopping. Only negatives are that the bathroom is a bit dated for the level of room, the pool is good for a city but is a bit cold for lounging around in later in the day particularly if it is cloudy,( I think this is because of the fitness centre and the need to keep a water a bit cooler for those lap swimming?) and the lack of access to the club lounge which I had expected. Apparently if you book through an agent access is not provided. Overall though I will stay again next time in Bangkok.

Breakfast is ok but I have been staying at this hotel for 3 years and it has never changed. Hotel should think about coming up with some new ideas. The hotel has become non smoking since april, it is a problem as i am a smoker. Gym and swimming pool are really great. The room furnishing needs to be refreshed for the price.

You may think that I have given this hotel an A plus rating simply to win the prize on offer but, having booked our previous holiday through a travel agent & felt somewhat over charged, I decided to peruse the internet & came across your site. After much checking of other sites, I kept coming back to yours. The ease with which I was able to navigate it, made my decisioin to book through HotelTravel.com a very easy one to make plus the added advantage of very good rates on hotels, accompanied by good information about the hotels but also the surrounding areas &, I suppose, if I am to be completely honest, the amazing shopping. I booked to stay at Pathumwan Princess Hotel, attached to MBK Centre. wow !! Booking, was so simple, even when my original traveling companion, my sister, had to cancel due to an accident, another friend was able to book easily in her place. It was easy to contact you & chat online with an operatoe to change the booking into another name. Pathumwan Princess Hotel[Bangkok], is a 4 star hotel of exceptional value. We found our room to be of an excellent size & the standard of cleanliness to be top notch. The American Breakfast included in our tarriff was fantastic, even the fussiest of eaters could find something to their liking in this restaurant. Wonderfully warm & welcoming staff greeted & served us each morning & it was a most relaxing way to begin one's day. The hotel also boast other restaurants, my favourite being The Loop, Italian restaurant with wonderful food prepared under the guidance of their Executive Chef, who is Italian. Being in such close proximity to MBK Centre proved to be great. We were able to shop in airconditioned comfort, bargain, which was generally encouraged & enjoy the facilities available in the centre, of which the 5th , on the 5th floor of the MBK centre, proved to be another great place to eat. We were able to sample cuisine from around the world, great Thai, Japanese, Vegetarian, Chinese, Indian,, plus many more. We sampled the local brew, Singah Beer, a very refreshing & light beer. The facilities at the hotel are world class, combined with the care & sincerity of the Thai people, & there is something for everyone to enjoy, be it working out in the gym, swimming in the pool or relaxing with a massage or facial all under the same roof & even the beauticians will come to your room. Heaven.!!!!!! Nothing seemed too much trouble for any of the staff who were so polite, proffessional & obliging. They hepled make this a memorable holiday. I hope to return to Pathumwan Princess Hotel Bangkok,& would have no hesitation in recommending it & your site, HOTELTRAVEL.COM to anyone . Your site made it all so easy & helped to make this a wonderful holiday. Thank you so much,

We chose the hotel for its position and facilities as a place to end our two week tour of Thailand in a little more luxury than previously. The facilities were excellent and very comfortable. Although the prices in the bars and restaurants were very high for Thailand they are about what you would expect in a 4* hotel. (For cheap eats and drinks seek out the back streets on the other side of Rama1 Rd or try the food court on level 5 of the MBK mall.) All of the staff were very helpful and courteous. We were allowed to use our room until 3.00p.m. on our last day at no extra cost which was very helpful The hotel is very well positioned for local transport with the Skytrain offering a very useful service. (Tip- to get to the centre {Wat Pho etc} use the Skytrain to Thaksin Bridge {30Bht} then use the river taxi {15 Bht})Very spacious. Cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels. Good, controllable air-con. Secure mini safe. The facilities that we used were good and the quality that would be expected of a 4* hotel. The quality in these outlets was good, with an excellent breakfast being provided. For anyone who is a bit more adventurous the prices are very high compared with the local restaurants. Great position for shopping with Siam Square and many malls close by. Jim Thompson House is close and must be visited. Great position for Skytrain. Skytrain, taxis all readily available. (Bangkok taxi drivers are rougues, however) I would happily stay at the PP again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pathumwan Princess. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, the leisure facilities were fantastic, and the location was very convenient to good shopping and public transport. Would thoroughly recommend it.Thought the gym and pool facilities were fantastic. Great location right next to MBK shopping centre and nearby Skytrain. Really good buffet breakfast.

Htl very accomodating allowing early check in and using breakfast for check in day as early departure following day but although room was on 15th floor, I found traffic noise noticable enough to interrupt sleeping (and thought I could have been given a room away from noise area due to early start). I also found towels tired and worn for this standard of room/htl. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is right above the MBK shopping centre, which out of the main shopping complexes, was easily the best. So if you are in Bangkok to hit the shops, then the Pathumwan Princess is definately the place to stay. Great pool, nice rooms and friendly staff as well. Would definately stay again.

This is an excellent hotel. This was our second visit and was for 4 nights. It is excellent for shopping, having a great indoor market corridor linked next door which in turn leads to other more upmarket shopping centres. The pool and gym are also spot on. Sky train is only a few minutes walk away through the indoor market centre. This hotel we found as good as a five star in most respects.

We loved staying at the Pathumwan Princess -it was only for 2 nights, so not long enough! It was our first time in Bangkok, but are already planning a return trip! The staff were wonderful, the room was spotless, pool and gym were great and there was plenty of security at the entrance. It is situated right next door to MBK shopping centre, which is always great! Would certainly recommended staying here, and can't wait to go back!

I used to work in this hotel as a singer at the lobby. Even with the changes they made over the years, the atmosphere of the entire lobby and bar is still "very cold." I don't feel well sitting at the lobby so we prefered to look for "warmer" places. The hotel management could actually do what Siam Paragon did to their entrance (plants! plants! plants!) so the hotel will look "warmer." Nevertheless, the selection of cakes at the lobby is great and I like what they do about the security at night knowing that a lot of shoppers could go in and out of the hotel premises. I find the price of their standard rooms expensive when I compare to what I get somewhere else and even in a better standard. We won't stay again in this hotel for that reason. Well at least we tried once.

There are some variations to the breakfast menu everyday which I think is excellent. The only thing that I like to comment is the internet connection which I paid 1000 baht for 12 hours which is expensive. I paid for 12 hours because the 2 hours one which cost about 600 baht is even more expensive. The connections was lousy and the speed is slow with frequent break in the connections. If the hotel wants to attract business travellers, the cost of internet should be free and acessible in their own rooms. I feel to pay for what I paid for the internet is not worth it. Anyway good job in the improvement of your hotel!

Fantastic location attached to the MBK shopping mall. Good selection for breakfast - the pancakes are delicious!! We had an execuplus suite on the 11th floor overlooking the pool. Didn't have much use of the kitchen but it was nice to have the large living area, bedroom was large with the hardest (but unbelievably comfortable) mattress I have ever slept on! Dressing room accessed off the bedroom and then bathroom. If there is a downside it would be that the bathroom is a little dated compared to the rest of the suite. Easy access to the skytrain and also the nearby Siam Discovery & Paragon shopping centres. Would certainly stay here again.

The foyer of the hotel was very modern and different. The rooms were a great size, although looking a little tired. Removing the bedspread entirely and going with the All white theme is a better idea. The breakfast menu was disappointing and fresh produce was lacking. Perhaps tomatoes without cheese, freshly cooked eggs-fried or scrambled is not the widest or healthiest of choices. The fresh fruit section was also very minimal. Don't be late as they pack up 1030 on the dot!!! Brilliant fitness club!

I liked the location most - near MBK and other shopping malls. The staff generally are not warm, not friendly and not responsive, except for one of the reception staff. He served me when I checked-in the first day. He was extremely helpful, friendly and approachable. His service is excellent and impressive. For the other staff, the limousine driver whom I hired made me wait for half an hour and couldn't be contacted during that time. I was quite peeved. In addition, the staff at the exit, are unfriendly and do not take their initiative to approach me. I had to walk around to ask for help. Overall, I was only impressed by the one reception staff's service and the breakfast spread at the Bistro, but quite disappointed by the general staff attitude.

Liked the big fitness center, the nice restaurant for breakfast, the welcome drink and the service they provide. For the shower tube at the bath tub, it would be good if they can have a holder to hold the the shower tube upright so that you can have your shower when you are standing on the bath tub

Being situated in the same building as a large shopping complex was very convenient.
