A favourite with my family for many years on our vacation in Bangkok. The staff are very helpful and we are very pleased with the reception, concierge and F&B services. proximity to shopping malls and skytrain a big advantage. Rooms are clean and of decent size. Hotel is kept attractive with continuous improvements.
Used the massage service and is excellent for the service provided. Extremely helpful staff at the check-in and also check out procedure. Concierge is very knowledgable with restaurants, sightseeing attractions and able to provide addresses and instructions in Thai for taxi. Loved their breakfast in The Square for their variety of food and the excellent service. Close proximity to BTS skytrain Siam station is very convenient. Also love the fact that Siam Paragon, MBK, Central World, Erawan shrine and Central Chidlom are all within walking distance.
Proximity to BTS skytrain is a plus point. Traffice jam by roads within Siam square and vicinity can cause delays to access by taxi.

The best thing about Novotel Siam Square is the comfort and the very central location right by the Siam central BTS station. Very clean and spacious, effective air condition and not much traffic noise. I mostly used the fitness centre, which is rather small but has several multi purpose machines for a full body workout.
Staff was friendly and courteous, quick to help when requested. Very fresh, cleaned daily. Looks generally new and well maintained. I chose this hotel based on a recommendation and I would definitely recommend it to others.
Located right by Siam station which is the central station connecting the two BTS lines. The major shopping centres are also located right by the station.
Besides the BTS, there are always taxis and tuk-tuks ready outside.

strategic location, close to paragon shopping centre and bts station, room is average, however we didn;t spend much time inside the room anyway so it doesn;t really matter, as novotel siam is great for it's location. mix feeling about the staffs, some were good and some looked quite moody...hmmm but no big deal for us anyway....just dont take it to heart :)

I loved the room with the sofa (I've stayed at Novotel Century in Hong Kong and the room is much smaller). Also, the place is bright with windows in the corridor and the lift lobby at the room level has a lovely view of the pool (looks much better than Novotel Century). The captain at the coffee house where I had breakfast was very professional in his service. The only problem was that on 3rd Jan, I ordered from the ala carte menu and it took a very long time to be served. I requested for late check-out at 1pm and to my surprise, the room key was not working when I returned and I had to turn to the reception for assistance. When I was packing, the lights in the room kept going off. Apart from these two incidents, my overall experience was good and I would recommend your hotel to others and even return if I go to Bangkok again.

Excellent location, just steps away from the skytrain station, less than one minute walk to Siam Paragon Mall and Siam discovery center. Siam Square restaraunts and shopping just outside hotel and MBK center less than 5 minutes walk away. We were able to check in early, we arrived and checked in before 8:30am. The reception also suggested we take breakfast that morning as we were leaving very 3am and would miss our included breakfast the following morning. This was a very good point. The hotel was prefectly located for shopping etc, but was a little old and room was a little smelly in spite of being a non smoking room.

Traffic jam is a common sight in the city hence getting to/from the hotel can be a little slow. Breakfast spread need some variation. This hotel is in an excellent location, very close to main shopping area of Siam Square and two minutes walk to Sky Train station, meaning you can access many areas of Bangkok with ease. The room was well proportioned and had good facilities. Restaurants, swimming pools and other facilities were all of good quality. Room service was prompt and food of good quality. The only small negative was incomplete cleaning of the room on the second day.

Hotel staff were friendly when approached. However, if drilled with more questions, some lost patient and the unfriendliness appeared. For example, one guest relation officer(GRO) was trying to convince me that i could actually get the power adaptor from the housekeeping, while waiting for it at the biz center, while the other staff inside the biz center was not sure. When I went back to question GRO, she appeared to be not able to control her temper (not towards me, I hope) and I thought no matter what, that is a no-no for guest relationship. BTW, her voice was not really raised( as she didnt yell), just higher than usual. Other than that, the hotel is fabulous.
