We enjoyed our stay at this hotel during our recent trip to Bangkok. The staff were very friendy and helpful. The rooms were very clean and provided both bath and shower facilities. The television had a good international selection of channels. Our room was provided with a safe (self selectable combination} for keeping your valuables. the air conditioning worked great. The room was provided with bottled water(two per day) and newspapers were available in various languages in the nicely decorated Lobby. The hotel is well located and provides easy access to taxi or other private vehicles. T...

I paid 25 dollars a day It is good price but I check again for this year the price goes up. If the price is 25 dollars It is worth. This hotel is in Indian town and near river side and near Catholic church..... I enjoyed spend time in Bang kok But just one thing The transportation. Please use the taxi meter out side of hotel .... If you wanted to using sky train you should walk at least 15-20min... or you can take boat just one station down... you can take boat....

-Chose this hotel for 3 days short stay because of location (proximity to river boat station and Silom) and low price.Staff is friendly and efficient; breakfast buffet is average; no free internet but expensive Wifi in room; other services I did not use.Arrived one day too early for an extra night and hotel charged a 60 % higher price; in that room hot water taps were not running, had to change room in the morning, no refund or lower price, only free fruits

It had both oriental and western fare that we found quite tasty and reasonable in selection. The hotel also had a nice garden terrace on the roof for relaxation and sunbathing. There is a Mini Mart on the main street in front of the hotel providing quick access for small items. We found the manager to be a very gracious and helpful. We hope to stay here again on our future trips.

Old hotel showing signs of ware and the only Hotel I have been to, that has NO CLOCK whatsoever in it's Reception/Lobby area. Beware the first person you meet in the coffee shop for your 'average' breakfast, instead of a swasdee ka, she Growls & Grunts ! Welcome to Thailand !

Fair enough for the price. Central location within walking distance to Pat pong (20 minutes) and sky rail (10 minutes). Facilities are very basic, but hotel staff friendly. Good budget place to stay with no frills.

The room was a delux and was clean with no noise and the staff where friendly at all time. The shower was a bit low and not much power. I found the staff to be helpful but only when they where in the mood (generally if they know how to help they would). very very small swimming pool and no fitness room. Great roof garden. If they knew how they did otherwise you got a blank look and expression. Reasonable breakfast to start the day. got the hotel taxi to get to the airport as its important. cost more than normal but agian very important. otherwise got hasseled a lot when i wanted to go for a walk and enjoyed the sun. near main street and shops resturants. The swimming pool is a very very small ( just for show) and does make the lobby look nice. There is NO fitness room. There was one excercise bike on the top floor and when i asked where the weights where the bell boy said they where there two days ago but are gone now. The bakery looks very nice and the breakfast had thai and english food (very reasonable) Opposite the hotel when you come out is a indian restrant and if you turn right there is an indian cafe. not far is silom village where there is a good restrant and thai dancing as well as english food. a very good and safe bet for your first night. You come out of the hotel and turn left and then first right and get to the main road where all the shops and markets is then left. Worth a 5-10 min walk if you want to get your bearing or a metered taxi. We once got

For the price this place was great. Clean, comfortable, quite. The pool was indoors, and not really for lounging around. The breakfast really nice. The hotel suited the purpose for us, arriving late and tired with three children.

We stayed just a little time in this hotel before to travel to North-Thailand. The hotel is located near a highway in the ‘center’ of Bangkok but is quiet. Our room was seriously wet – but during the monsoon all Bangkok is wet:) We had just a problem: till as the reception personal is very kindly and helpful – it is not true for the “boys”. They are a very bully and make all is possible to talk you into they business: transport, restaurants, sightseeing, etc. It is hard to escape:) I recommend this hotel for all budget travelers, because it is a good value for money! a couple from Hungary

The location of the hotel near Silom-Road is good for shopping, business and public transportations. The staff is friendly but not everyone understand english. The roofgarden is a lovely place to relax. Changing-room near the swimming-pool is missing.

The location is excellet, many shops, restaurants and also the embassys and public transportation are quite near. The staff are friendly, but don't expect all of them speaking perfect english. At night sometimes it becomes noisy since many busgroups arrive late. The funiture is not the newest. One thing You should not miss is to visit to the beautiful roofgarden. The (hidden) roofgarden is a green hideout where You can relax. Breakfast is good. For that price You will not easy find a better place to stay.

The hotel is quite far from the nearest BTS, you would have to take a tuktuk or a taxi to get to the nearest BTS. Hotel staff are very friendly and very accomodating. The swimming pool and the fitness center are both of no use to hotel guests. The buffet breakfast was good. A little bit difficult to sleep at night coz the hotel is located near the highway. The room was average but was very clean. The bathroom needs to be renovated and tiles will have to be replaced.

Furniture was old. I thought the room was to some extent quite dusty. Location is good, despite being next to the expressway. Parallel running is Silom Road, where one can find a fare share of food places, department stores & supermarket. I have also got to try their open air hawker center. Staff service was friendly and helpful. Rooms are pretty old. There was no kettle but it was no problem requesting for flasks of hot water. I would have done sun-tanning at the roof grden, had I known that there was one (was not expecting that facility). The hotel is well located that, one gets good sun tan in the afternoon, just when one can lie on the chair, facing the sun directly.

I always travel to Bangkok but this time is special because i am able to travel in budget expenses and Manohra Hotel is part of my budget. I like the most is the room that is clean spacious and then the staffs that are very friendly and informative. The least is the exercise room that are very limited of equipment.

Rooms are old but clean. Pool is small. Getting to the roof deck is dangerous. I would recommend to any one one going on a cheap holiday.

The hotel has two problems: - the common parts (corridors, etc) are in very poor decorative order and need attention - more seriously, the hotel does not have double glazing and is next to a busy road with 24 hour traffic. it is very difficult to sleep, even with earplugs. I will not use the hotel again unless/until these 2 points are addressed.

The Panorama Restaurant was changed to a very exclusive restaurant, was great quality, but not what I need during a leisure stay. Suggest to offer cheaper options at the menu....
