This is a little gem and even though Thailand is getting more expensive due to a stronger baht, this remains great value. To say it's a friendly hotel is an understatement. The staff have been extremely helpful, accommodating my dietary habits and they've improved their communication skills. The staff was as efficient and friendly as ever. The only negative side to this was the fact that informatiion concerning my stay was not passed from day shift to night shift, which caused me some frustration.The hotel is clean, but the carpeting in the elevators and the hallways needs extra attention or replacing because of the high volume of foot traffic.

Stayed here several times over tghe past two years, mainly due to quality of room, friendly service. Even though I am a regular customer and request a quiet, corner/end of hall room each time I never seem to get the right room the first time, very time consuming/disapointing. This time I waited two hours even though I arrived at 2PM check in time. Breakfast buffet is outstanding. Excellent exercise room. Taxi sometimes difficult to get, especially traveling to an odd number (1, 3, 5, etc) Soy/street. Most Bangkok hotels have free internet service in lobby/business center, but their's is quite expensive. Local phone calls are very expensive from the room. Think I will try a new hotel my next visit.

I had an excellent experience at this very nice hotel. The facilities were new, clean, and stylish. The service at the counter, lounge, bar, business center, restaurants, etc. was friendly, polite, and professional. The young ladies waitressing at the lobby lounge across from the elevators were extremely nice. This hotel was the best experience I had ever had and the price was incredibly affordable, especially considering the high quality.
I have just one caveat and that is during the day, there was one young concierge (can't recall his name) who was cooperating with the taxi drivers outside in scamming us for a higher fare. The concierge would tell us a supposed standard cost to get to a location and the taxi outside could offer a lower price. We found out on the way back that the actual fair based on a running meter was far less than what the concierge indicated. Also, the taxi driver would try to direct you to a much higher priced location or activity than where you’d want to go. I’m sure the concierge, taxi driver and final destination all share in the profit.

The Majestic Grande was excellent. The Staff are very efficient and friendly. When we arrived in our delux premier room there was a funny smell from the air con but when we asked to move to another room the duty manager was most apologetic and moved us to another room immediately. Rooms were fairly spacious , claen and comfortable. The resturant is excellent with superb service. The hotel is well located for the Sky train and for shopping centres but not for the sight seeing places although transport is good from around the hotel and the porters will quickly organise a taxi for you. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend.

Overall a great stay at this hotel. Third time I have been here. Main attractions are value for money, quietness, location and staff helpfulness and friendliness.
Three minor negatives on this visit:.
1) Getting onto broadband network is a bit complex and not clearly spelt out in room instructions. You have to contact the Business center and purchase a password etc. Not particularly cheap.
2) Bathroom Handbasin partially blocked and took long time to drain away.
3) Got a newspaper on the first morn and nothing for the remaining 5 nights I was there.

The staff was very attentive and courteous, the rooms clean and comfortable and the amenities sufficient (although not extraordinary). The staff was well trained and service was excellent. The breakfast buffet had everything I wanted. We opted for one notch above the least expensive room. This hotel is a real find with great quality rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The assistant manager was particularly efficient. The only problem was on check out with delays and errors but I would definately stay there again.

The rooms very very nicely appointed, clean, new, modern, very good bed and a very nice big screen TV set, easy outlets for eletrical equipment (computer etc.) Breakfast was good but the breakfast area cramped. Check-in and check-out was efficient. Location was very good, easy to get taxis and easy access to public transportation. The lifts were too slow for a hotel of this standard.

The hotel has to do something about the lifts/elevators. There were only two lifts in the hotel, which were often crowded with people and were very slow. This was extremely frustrating at times for us. (We often had to take the stairs) The breakfast venues were crowded and often there were no chairs and tables available. Even though the hotel provided two different breakfast locations, I often had to wait to be seated and the breakfast food had either run out or was cold. A little overpriced at $70 per night for a small standard room.

After spending two years looking for a stylistic hotel room in the Sukhumvit Nana/Asok area to put up my guests, someone finally just built one.
