room is very small and not suitable for family.customer service is really "bad" and not acceptable.breakfast is not enough for one adult. I ask the house keeping to provide me with one more "towel" and they want to charge me for 50 baht.I found only one Small tube of "shampoo" and I ask for more ... and they said sorry finish it and then we will supply you with another one by tomorrow morning .... this is really " not professional".

Superior rooms have small window to void-not very good. The deluxe rooms, OK. All gust room windows in the smoking floors (like elsewhere) are screwed shut for security reasons but it means the whole floor smells bad when you come out of the lifts. It would be preferable if the windows are locked only (not screwed down) like most hotels so that, at the time of cleaning, all windows are opened to clear the smell on a regular basis

The hotel is located close to areas of the night entertainment, I appreciated the opportunity to use the safe, and friendly staff. I booked a standard room, which presents a good value for money, even if the room that I had been assigned the window to a narrow and dark chub.

The aircon on my 2nd stay (29/10/08) room 2602, is directly facing the bed.Overall, for the price of average 1200B (with breakfast) for my 3 nights stay is worth the money.

This is not Executive delux Room as propoganda did in internet. Generally Thai businessman how they makes money from tourist it is just have to simple delux room not as mentioned above. From airport to hotel as taxi driver also do same thing cheating. Why Thai goverment does not check such in hub of touristic place. We can not ignore. All tourist must be very careful of such price in Bangkok.

Quality of AC is poor, Bathroom very basic, Limited access to internet facilities, small and slow elevators, hall ways claustrophobicly narrow, nice dining area. Pleasant and efficient staff . Relatively close to Sukumvit and Nana station, easy access to taxis. Easy access to taxis and relatively close to Nana Station. Good breakfast service. Clean rooms and pleasant lobby. We stayed in an executive suite which was overpriced for what we got. It was a very standard room with a couch but I have to say that the beds were very comfortable and it was quiet. Location central, breakfast very average.

Of 4 rooms booked, 2 were upgraded 1 night then downgraded the next. The hotel provides acceptable accommodation, but only just. The area is not "family-friendly", too close to the Nana entertainment area. 15 minute walk to the Skytrain. There are better hotels in better locations for all activities, but the hotel is an acceptable last resort.

I have stayed at this hotel on previous trips and the hotel has undergone much needed improvements recently. Some of the rooms need updating as they are a little shabby and the air-con in some rooms needs to be improved. Some rooms donn`t have a window but that was not a problem, after all I only wanted to sleep and shower not look at the view all day!!! The staff were friendly and helpful and we were on first name basis which is the sort of friendliness I prefer,I don`t like to be addressed as sir. I have had problems with the tour desk before and talking to other guests I found they to have had problems and I would suggest to anyone staying here to use tour shops outside as she was not very helpful at all. I will use this hotel again on my next visit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel,it`s not 5 star luxury and never will be,but anyone wanting clean basic accommodation with good food and friendly helpful staff will find the Unico Leela ideal.

I spended very pleased time here, because it's very close of some atraction of Bangkok: near hotel, at the skytrain Assok station it's located very classy store named Robinson, at 10 min taxi drive (max.50baht - must negociate at first) is the Suam Lum night bazaar. At 15 min it's Siam Square - very beautiful. Don't forget to take from the hotel visit card in thai (80% of people don't understand english, take the map, photo or some questions direct in thai). Notify exactly your position on the map. Around the hotel are many other atraction which you'll see by yourself. Enjoy your trip.

A very old hotel with smelly awful rooms currently under renovation, thus very noisy. Totally overpriced. Never again. Lobby looks nice though, but once you have entered the elevator...Even a cheap accomodation should be clean, not smelly, not noisy. This accomodation was not even cheap and had all the negatives I just outlined. Only the lobby looked perfect - that's how to distract from the true status of the hotel.

Indeed value for money. The Hotel lobby & Coffee Shop is recently refurbished which is at par with any 3 star hotel. Very convienient location. The eaterires are close by (walking distance) and one can enjoy Indian, Arabic, Continental & of course Thai food. You may walk in with your local girl escorts without any hassle which makes it tourist friendly. Though it is an old hotel but it appears they are in the process of renovation & refurbishing. At the end no regrets staying in Leela Inn. No problems booking through Hotel Travel.com. Recommending low budget travellers to choose Leela Inn means value for money.

Leela breakfast is good, STS Tourist lady was terrible, almost ruined my stay at the hotel...but I went to the Nana Hotel and they took good care of me...went to eat lunch and dinner at Nana hotel also...Leela salmon dinner stunk...stayed at leela, went to Nana hotel for everything else. I think Nana is best overall for superior services for the price. Leela had rennovation going on also, very dirty on my floor, very noisy...also bad security, window that would not lock shut, wall doors that would not lock, questionable false ceiling in bathroom...felt like I couldnt leave anything in the room so I used locks, cables, and tie straps. Next time I will make reservations way ahead of time for the Nana hotel.

Actually this hotel is not NEAR to any train station. The nearest Skytrain station still requires 15 - 20 min walking distance. There are a lot of better hotel that just sit beside Sukhumvit main road, you might can get much better room with a little bit of extra payment. The food provided there are not good. I stayed there for 3 nights and every morning I saw the same old meals, very little choices... What make me more mad is that on the last day, the staffs there are not VERY FRIENDLY, they don't even come out to me to ask what do I want for the drinks, I have to go and poured it myself. But I did see them entertain other customers which made me more and more MAD!!!!! Maybe they paid more for the room... just maybe. There should be more choices outside. I wouldm't recommend this.

The room is very small at "deluxe room" with my booking. And the air conditionor makes big noise. But when I ask the reception for large, quiet room, she asked me to pay 500BHT for the room change. Still the A/C is very noisy and this time I can clearly hear the noise from the street. Very limit choice of food for breakfast. Most of hotel staff are nice.

The standard room was small, but was clean and had a great air conditioner. There were few channels on the TV and many were duplicate channels. There was no bathtub but just a shower (not separated from the rest of the bathroom). There are a few bars close by which are a little loud if you want to go to sleep before midnight, but who sleeps in Bangkok anyway. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the Sukhumvit mainline, and about a 10 minute walk to the Nana subway. There are 3 internet cafes within 5 minutes of the hotel. The breakfast was okay and definately value for money. The staff are not too talkative, but responded to all of our needs, except for providing a bellman which we asked for to help us with our bags on checkout. Overall, if you can book through this site, it is great value for money.

I stayed in delux room of Leela Inn with my family. Size of Room & Bed is good. Bathroom is clean but has little shower pressure problem. All in all it is quite good for the price you pay. I would certainly recommend my friends to stay at Leela Inn in future. Distance from local transportation stops is bit far but If you choose to travel in Taxi then no problems.

The Leela Inn is nothing special. If you're prepared for the dirty, frayed carpets in the corridors, and a strange smell that resembles the inside of a vacuum cleaner then you probably won't be disappointed. The room was plain but reasonably sized and clean, with tv, aircon, phone and hotwater shower and thankfully no carpet! But some of the rooms overlook Soi Nana, a busy oneway street, so not so pleasant for those who don't like traffic noises. I found the staff to be friendly enough but I did hear the lady at the tour desk charge a guest a whopping 500 baht to go to the airport (more than double what it would normally cost). I guess my overall feeling is that for the area, it's probably ok value for money. Personally I won't be going back there, but that's only because i know that for an extra $5 or $10 a night, there are much better places around Sukhumvit. One great advantage is that it's right next to a canal boat stop, a great way to get around the city.

Leela Inn is ideal for travellers on budget tours. I was expecting something much worse after reading through some of the poor reviews given by other travellers. However, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and neatness of the hotel rooms. I stayed in a standard room, and although it was extremely small, it was comfortable enough for me and my boyfriend. They have mini buffet spread for breakfast. I would consider it good for an Inn's standard. The only drawback of Leela Inn is the distance from BTS. Need to walk average about 10-15mins before reaching BTS.

The room in this hotle was not good. When I got in the room, I was suprised about the room facilities. No sunshine came into my room and I had to turn all lights on even during the day. In the bathroom, there was not a bath tub, a razor, a comb, a hair drier, tooth brushes. And the air conditioner was not auto controlled. I had to control it manually by a switch.
