The most outstanding thing was the service and attention of the employees. the only disappointment, and it was a big one, was that i was not able to go out on my balcony. That was one of the reasons for switching to le bua. when i voiced my concern that it should've been taken off the advertisement (false advertisement) because i was looking forward to spending time on the balcony and booked the room for that. i was told that it was being looked into about signing a waiver when a guest checks in about the balcony. . . that would be fine, i hope it gets worked out. because frankly, one of...

Top class hotel with wonderfully attentive staff...Quality of breakfast was one of the best I've ever had....however £50 for a glass of champagne was somewhat excessive!!!!!!

Competent in all areas but not outstanding in any. The hotel lacks the certain something that would take it into the top category (eg. like Banyan Tree Bangkok), but it's good value for money. And the outdoor Sky Bar on the 64th floor is spectacular.

Lebua is a great place. Perfect service (although the check-in is rather lengthy), fantastic suites with wonderful beds and duvet covers, pristine clean, simply great. And a good value!

This is by far one of the nicest hotels in all of Bangkok. It's like having a one bedroom Apartment in the heart of Bangkok. The Staff is the friendliest I Have come across. The food is quite good. The location excellent, and the property is first rate. Worth every penny. I will staying there any time I'm in town

Large, comfortable and quiet rooms with especially large bathroom that has separate shower. Good buffet breakfast. As with most 4 and 5 * hotels in Bangkok, staff were excellent. Main negatives were: 1) the distance to Skytrain, which, although not far, is an obstacle course; 2) the rooms are a bit plain: 3) hope that the people in the adjoining rooms are quiet as the walls are thin; and 4) 2 elevators were out of service the entire week.

an island of finesse, luxury and and great views. the rooms are spacious and decorated well in a japanese-western decor. its too bad you can't go out on their huge balconies though, as they are only offered on the top floors and could allow for some awesome views. its a tad removed from everything - Silom entertainment is close but not at your doorstep; china town is a ways down the road; and the river is a nice walk away. but if you know your way around or have a good local guide, these things are all nicely accessible. the staff can be too "no"ish unaccomodating. they do their job to the letter and do not allow guests to stray into dress code rooms just a few feet from the dinner table without the exact heel height on your shoes. they let some poeple into the outdoor bar with jeans and sandals and others have to be in formal attire. puzzling. but, if you can get past these nuances and rules, there are some spectacular views to be seen.

The room is really big but the lobby and lift is a bit old.Actually the location is also good. There is only 5 mins walking distance to the sky train station. And the price is resonable from HotelTravel.com

The swimming pool is below average, the seating area is insufficient, jacuzzi is not good enough and the embiance could be improved. I would try the in-house massage if there would be a discount to me.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it hadn't close the window of the balcony. The gorgerous view is the highlight of the hotel. It feels so boring without the balcony. I introduced MSST to everyone after my first time visit. But I will probably not choose this hotel next time.
