Rated #29 for all Bangkok hotels
Our rooms on the Club floor were extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Everything you would expect from an Intercontinental. Because we ate out with friends who live in Bangkok and given that we had complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea/drinks our exposure to the other outlets was limited. But notwithstanding this, we would imagine that all of the facilities were of a similarly high standard. Accessible either from hotel taxi or public transport. Hotel limousines were very reasonably priced. The hotel was expensive but worth every penny....

We stayed at the club rooms and had an amazing view of the city at the 30th floor. The rooms were very spacious and warm. The bathroom was huge. The only things I would comment on are 1) the aircondition - which was very weak in my room, but was very strong in my brother's - and 2) the water coming out of the rainshower was very weak even at full blast.. this one was at room 3018. Other than that, the facilities (especially the gym) was fantastic! I'm an avid user of the treadmill and the one I used at the intercon was by far the best i've ever used! absolutely loved it! Lastly, the location cannot be beat... right in the center of the shopping malls.. central world, platinum mall, chidlom central mall, siam paragon, erawan mall, and many others! would definitely be staying here next time i come back to bkk.. but would have to make sure that the city is riotr-free!

Fantastic business oriented hotel in the higher priced segment (relative to Bangkok hotel prices). A great location, excellent service and the good secure "home-feeling" still makes this hotel a winner and also great value for money.

I found the hotel, great as it was situated in an ideal location with the BTR station just outside. The staff were extremely helpful, and able to deal with any request I had.
The gym could be upgraded slightly, however the gym staff were knowledgeable and willing to assist when required.
Otherwise I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I found the room to be clean and well looked after. The bathroom scales could be placed in a better place as they are in the way when using the toilet. A better explaination of the use of the internet would have been helpful. I found the staff to be excellent, and nothing was to much of a hassle for them. The concierge staff were great and helped out with every query and problem I had. Pool staff were very helpful, and although the pool area seems crowded it works well. The room was well maintained and serviced. The location is great and right next to the BTR station and very close to most shopping and entertainment areas. I dined at three of the hotel resturants and found the food excellent and the staff service extremly good. I booked a hotel car to take me to the airport. The driver and car were very good and got me to the airport without any fuss. enjoyed my stay and received value for money.
