Customer's Hotel Review
Great Hotel on the North end of Bangkok. I've stayed here a few times and it's always been a great place. It's close to the Sky Train, which is a great way to see the city.

The staff were fantastic. Extremely helpful and very honest. I stayed in a Junior Suite and the facilities were very average and a little run down. The restaurant food was less than ordinary and considering how wonderful food is in Thailand I think there is vast room for improvement. Regardless of their current rating - two star. The bed, like most hotel beds in Thailand, was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. An iron in the room would have been great. The location at first was a bit of a problem because most of the shops etc were a reasonable distance from the hotel. However, the motorbike and tuk tuk service are very cheap and easy to find. Would I stay again? Possibly, for a long stay and if I am on a limited budget. The Junior Suite is really good value money. If you want a good cheap hotel and plenty of room then the Junior Suite is worth a look.

Frendly staff - Poor location. Not close to any transport except taxi and nothing close by except the weekend market.

Good location near the Bangkok International Airport with which I had no problem to catch an early morning flight.

The location of the hotel is great but the room was dirty, had a mildew smell that 2 dozen roses and couple of bouquets of flowers could not overcome. The staff was curt and minimally helpful for Thai standards. I would not recommend this hotel.

It's labelled as an airport Hotel but that doesn't do the Grand Tower's location justice. For a weekend stop in Bangkok, the hotel is ideal for its proximity to the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market - a sprawling bonanza of thousands of stalls selling anything and everything.... but only on the weekend. The rooms are standard, clean. Nothing special. The mattresses are good though. The morning breakfast - served in an open, sunny room - is well done; it includes Thai and western fare. The staff are accomodating. I use the GT Inn for weekend stopovers in Bangkok. They will hold your bags (for extended periods) in a secure room if you wish to make sidetrips out of city or country. A fifteen minute walk to the BTS, a fifteen minute cab ride home from all the city's entertainment spots, and still only twenty minutes to the airport (compared to 45 minutes to an hour for the big inner city hotels) - it's close to just about everything. While the area immediately surrounding the hotel lacks ambiance or options, a few blocks in both directions are packed and busy local food and fun spots. Pradiphat Road - the former sex zone for locals - is a kilometer long avenue of food stalls, soup stations, outdoor seafood cafes and local drinkiing dives. It's an interesting walk; and at the end is the Sapahn Kwai BTS stop. A little further in the opposite direction is Ari - the home of local upper class. Also home to a small restraunts and cafes. The street food is also decidedly b
