Rated #100 for all Bangkok hotels
Large and comfortable room with adequate wheelchair access. Above average selection of toiletries. I found this hotel to be an excellent value -- especially with the wonderful breakfast buffet included. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, including smoked fish, thai dishes and omelette station. I would definitely stay here again. Hotel has a nice little business center in the lobby. On a more personal note, I also found the hotel to offer acceptable access for my wheelchair. Excellent service from HotelTravel.com also !...

The hotel is very convenient for moving around Bangkok as the Phra Ram 9 MRT ststaion is just a 2 minute walk away. Ratchadapisek, the locality of the Hotel is 30 minutes from the airport and is developing with many shopping centres/malls.
Only issue is there is always a jam in the evenings and the room always has ants when I stay there as I always stay at this hotel when in Bangkok.

The front desk is not helpful at all!!! we 4 person check with 3 rooms, 2 rooms in same area but another room located in another end!! Rooms got ants!! When we check out, the front desk lady just go behind the office without telling us what had happen. She justlet us wait there more than 15mins while we keep asking whether we can left or not. After 15mins, she come out and said we can left. While we asking wat happen, she just said she want confirm whether Hoteltravel.com payment made or not. They should do it before we check out n during. She just wasted our time standing there!! Totally not friendly!

Not really in a central position but close to MRT station so you can be in 5 min at sukhumvit road or in 15/20 min in Silom road and Hualamphon station. Room size and dotation ok, fornitures appear a little bit faded and probably require some renovation; not big but nice swimming pool. Breakfast selection should be more wide. The internet rate at business center it's too expensive: 18 thb/min! Anyway, considering the room rate and facilities Fortune Hotel is an acceptable accomodation.

I disliked the adjacent mall, It is messy and not very nice. This brings the star rating of the hotel down.

We enjoyed our stay and have stayed there 4 times in 2005. We think the bedspreads need to be changed (updted) on the 17th floor. The breakfast could contain a few more choices for 'Western' people. The rooms were clean!

Around January to February, Bangkok holds the Ban Thawai Wood Carving Fair. Here one can watch demonstrations of woodcarving and other local handicrafts as well as purchase the products produced. The work is that of Northern Thais and tends to be more intricate than that of their southern cousins. It’s well worth a visit.
This year, the International Photographic Contest, officially endorsed by the Crowned Prince, honours images of People.
One of Thailand's largest travel fairs. Exhibits cover everything from international cruises to local restaurants.
