This is my first time stayed in this hotel, I felt it is different from those I stayed before in the sense that it separated out dining room and bedroom and also the bathroom is very spacious. I felt so comfortable staying there during my few days stayed.
Breakfast is excellent also in terms of varieties. I am so enjoyed with the breakfast even though I am alone there. Thanks to the staffs friendliness and helpful.
I will not hesitate to stay in this hotel if I go to bangkok again in the near future. Thanks again....

Size of room is relatively small, especially the room we're given.It's kinda weird in terms of the built and the plan of the hotel room.Taxi service is not up to standard, as they will have to help consumers/customers like us who doesn't speak in their local language for an exact price.Room service is pleasant.
Staff service is pleasant, able to speak in english.Location is relatively good, close to malls etc.I would say both Bangkok and Grand Diamond Hotel left me an acceptable impression.

The location of the hotel is highly accessible to major shopping centers and we definitely had a great time walking around to shop and heading back to the hotel with ease. Though i would also say that the hotel should increase their restaurant food choices, i.e have more cafe/variety available.

It is near several big shopping centers - Platinum Mall (1,500 shops), Isetan, Pratnum Plaza (electronics), Big C and several more in front of the hotel I did not bother to enter. Yup! this is the place to be if you are looking for a shop haven. And to think shopping is not my thing.

I liked this hotel because it situated between Platinum Plaza and Plantip Plaza.Opposite the hotel is the Platunam Market and 5 to 10 mins away to other shopping centre.We stay in a junior suite room that have a living room with sofa and small dining table which is nice because once you came back from shopping,you can put all your things there.The bathroom have a bathtub and a shower room.The breakfast are fine,they even have coconut! We have dinner at the chinese restaurant and the food is good too.Overall the Grand Diamond Hotel is a good choice due to its location.

The Grand Diamond is excellant choice for a traveller who wants to be close to everything !
Whole sale mall , banks , great food , easy transport ( just a step out of the door , you get the bus stand, taxies , tuk tuks .
The concierce service is also like the best, helpful, and really concern about the hotel guest !
The food variety is also very acceptable, starting us of every morning with everything we need, good coffee , cereals, the local breakfast, something for everyone, even the most finicky of eaters.
Security is also there, with no one being able to just stray up, unless you really live there.
Was dissapointed with the spa, but , there were excellent ones just around the corner , so it wasn't a big deal.
The only problem was the traffic jam getting to the hotel, and we solved that by avoiding the hours, but being central, it was expected. Easy to tell the taxis where it was though.
Every driver knew where it was.
I would certainly stay there again. In fact begining to feel very at home there. Fyi this is my second stay there !

Grand Diaming is in an excellent location for shopping etc. Great restaurant with buffet breakfast which is amazing. The room was good but starting to look a little tired. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were great but had a few issues with the reception staff at times not always very friendly and had some communication issues but otherwise great hotel for the money.

This is a really good place to stay if you want to enjoy shopping in Bangkok - so close to the malls! The hotel room is really spacious - well, it's apartment actually. This is a very good hotel which is close to everything and a thriving market at the doorstep. Despite the attempts by the limo driver to add $1000Baht to the bill, the hotel staff managed to ensure that he didnt rip me off and I arrived safely. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, the pool was refreshing and everyone was curteous. It is definetly value for money and I would certainly stay there again.

Spacious and outstanding for a room to have a kitchen & living room as well. Easily accessible to various shopping areas and the breakfast buffet had a huge spread and variety. Only downside was that the sink's cover could not be opened and bedroom's aircon was a bit warm (probably due to the window's opening gap). Everything else was 2 thumbs up. Lifts were controlled by secured cards which provided security. Location was fantastic! Food was everywhere and right in the heart of shopping areas. And BTS station was just 8 mins walk away. Definitely Value for Money!

Had a bad experience in its Teochew Sharksfin Restaurant - worst meal by any standard! The goose meat was definitely re-heated using microwave oven; sharksfin dish definitely a gone case!!! We can get better food anywhere outside this restaurant. It's far too disgraceful for the hotel to be associated with this restaurant!!! Setback in the hotel's location - surrounding areas too rowdy and dirty!

Comparetively value-worth room rate. Spacious and clean room. Useful room facilities and in good condition. Close to Central World (in renovation) and 10-15 min walk to the nearest sky-train station but the pavement nearby you may feel a little bit damaged (uneven surface, it's really BKK) and dark at night. We're always happy with our stay here. To begin with we were unfortunately on the side of the building which was facing a construction site, but when asked if we could be moved the staff were more than happy to help by putting us in a room with a much nicer outlook over the city. The service was great and the food was also really good. The hotel restaurant menu is quite extensive and great value. The main point of course is that the location is fantastic if you are planning to shop for anything on your trip to Bangkok. Pantip Plaza is only a couple of doors down and you are constantly surrounded by Markets every day of the week as well as being only minutes walk from Siam Centre, MBK & the Skytrain station.

The ladies at the reception desk were awful. They didn't speak proper English and sent us to the Wrong train station, which meant we Missed our train.
The breakfast was very bizarre as well. They try to server Chinese breakfast, Japanese breakfast, Western breakfast etc. all at once and the outcome is, well, bizarre.
