Very helpful reception staff. Business center needs a faster connection and better computer equipment. The buffet is very short on personnel and the few that are working are not very motivated. Security is friendly and alert Housekeeping personnel do a very good job but need to understand what the 'Do not disturb' sign really means. Very nice hotel with good location and overall very helpful and friendly staff. ...

we booked a double room but a twin was offered instead. the room was stinking of smoke and the water from the taps was coming out brown. the second they we were moved to a much nicer double room. breakfast offers plenty of choice but the quality is not amazing. for the price paid i would certainly go back.

I was told my reservation booking had been cancelled on arriving at the hotel and had book again and told that the cost would be 3100baht for one night and and extra cost for breakfast. I had to pay extra 600bht so I could contact Hotel.com to caomplain. which was sorted out and a confirmed booking was then corrected by the Hotel receptionist. But I eventually managed to get our free breafast vouchers after collecting myself from reception desk.

The deluxe room at the Emerald was very nice. The room was clean and spacious with an excellent view of the city. The staff was very friendly and professional. The restaurant could probably offer more of a variety of food but overall this hotel was worth the value paid.

I was upgraded to the Delux room, which looked nicer than the superior one. Staffers were nice and helpful. Location was convenience, in terms of taking the subway. But the extra large king-size bed was actually composed of two double beds. Moreover, the brekfast on the 14th floor was so-so, in comparison with that of a normal 4-star hotel. My clothes were a bit smelly after breakfast. Finally, the surrounding area (especially between the hotel and the subway station) was filled with massage and "special service" businesses, which made my friend and me a little bit uncomfortable. Generally, the value for money was good, despite these shortcomings.
