Rated #73 for all Bangkok hotels
the only disadantage is that the pool is in the main building so if your room is in the corner wing building and you'd like to go for a swim, you have to leave the building and to walk on the street (1 min) to the other building, and come back ofcourse.
I had a premier room for several days and it was great value for money compared to other hotels I stayed in the past in Bangkok.
I can 100% recommend this hotel to anyone...

Excellent value and service. Excellent room with good amenities with good fitness and pool facilities. Just remember, it's always a short taxi ride to the sky train or Emporium (or a long hot walk) but only costs $1, so not a big deal. Internet access is a bit expensive, but there are cheap internet shops everywhere in BKK. This was my first time at this hotel as I'm a frequent visitor to BKK, having usually stayed at the Novotel Lotus. Better food at the Novotel, but the rooms need a major renovation.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights - was fantastic. Great rooms, great food - buffet breakfast is amazing!!!! And the evening meal buffet is well worth the money (after 9pm its half price) Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Skytrain about 15 - 20 min walk up road to the right of hotel, but they do lay on a free tuk tuk to take you there if you want. I recommend the Davis to anyone!!!!!

The Davis Bangkok hotel is a very nice place to stay in Bangkok. The hotel itself is very classy, clean, and they staff are there to make sure your stay is as comfortable and easy as possible. The hotel is not so close to the sky rail but this didn't seem to matter at all as they have a complimentary tuk tuk waiting outside to take you to the sky rail (when available). But even if the tuk tuk is not available when you want to go, the boys at the door are ready to organise a taxi for you, and they tell the taxi driver where you want to go, so you don't need to worry about trying to explain that to the driver yourself. The pool was great - it's on the top of the roof of the main building and is open until 7p.m. The buffet breakfast was also great, with the menu changing daily.
There was just one thing I was a little shocked about. If you want to use the internet at the business center for only a short time, you have to pay 300 baht for 30 minutes (I think it was only 30 mins) and you can't go back to use up your credit at a later time. This is not so expensive when you covert it back to your home currency I guess, but it is quite expensive when the internet cafe across the road charges only 75 baht for 30 mins.
Overall, the Davis Bangkok really deserves a good rating as it lives up to standards. The staff were especially helpful, friendly and professional and should be given a special mention. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The Davis Hotel met our needs exactly and with a great nightly rate. It was nice to be in a smaller hotel with excellent service, spacious rooms and modern decor. We really enjoyed.

The decor of the hotel room was very tasteful. For those who wish to experience traditional Thai architecture, this hotel has perhaps one of the best that Bangkok has to offer.
I like the thick curtains which keep the daylight out and allow one to sleep late into the morning. I'll book this hotel again the next time I holiday.

Have stayed here several times and alwasy find it very comfortable. Room is comfortable and large enuf. Only reason not excellent is because my king was actualy two singles pushed together. It is a little far away from the tourist part of Sukhumvit but taxis are cheap and it means it is a little quieter. I would recommend for business or leisure traveller. Only complaint is that internet is expensive compared to room rate. internet itself was fine but i think overpriced. many hotels now offer internet free and i think Davis should do the same or at least a very nominal charge.

This was my second stay at Davis and was again pleased with the quality of the stay. Check-in was the only problem as they did not have a room ready and I had to wait about 30 minutes. Otherwise, great stay.

It is a great hotel with unique design, however, the front desk service standard is horrible! Facing the black face of the front desk staff, even the best hotel in the World will receive a bad rating!! Need to be seriously improved.

Davis Bangkok provided a pleasant stay a bit more unique than your normal mid-level hotel. Overall quite good value for money as I booked a junior suite but was upgraded to an executive suite. Close to Sukhumvit, less than 15 minute walk via Soi 22 or 24, but yet sufficently removed so as to avoid the rush. The area surrounding Davis is pretty good as well. Good mid-range hotel for first time or frequent visitors to Bangkok.

Me & my colleagues went for a short shopping trip in Bangkok. We stayed 3 nights at Davis. Service was excellent & staff was very helpful. Service was excellent, provided useful tips & guideline for first time visitor. Although the location is a bit too far from Sky Station. But we loved the cosy environment & is closed to side walk cafe, chocolate house, supermarket and so on. I would definitely stay in this hotel on my next visit.

Had a great time in Davis, room is spacious and modern, a bit far from BTS, but plenty of motobikes outside to take u there! The restaurants in Davis camp are very good for simple and cheap lunch! Will definately choose Davis next time.

I experienced the best service of any hotel I have stayed in in Asia. The staff were attired in chic black ensembles, spoke English quite well and executed each request with efficiency and professionalism. Public areas are well-maintained and the pool is a lovely oasis on the rooftop. Breakfast each morning was fine, nothing grand, but everything hot and plentiful. The location is perfect, just a 5 min ride away from Emporium and the Skytrain. The only complaint I can make is that the Business Centre only has one laptop set up for guest use. If another guest enters, they must set up another (taking up to 15 min). Otherwise my experience at the Davis was superlative.

We found the hotel charming, comfortable and cosy. The service levels were excellent throughout and the staff showed great initiative and were always eager to help. Although some visitors may be deterred by its relative distance from the main Sukhumvit strip, we found this to be rather an asset, because it meant that the hotel was set away from the accompanying noise and hustle and bustle. The nearby shops and eateries were also a plus, being convenient and accessible without being too crowded. We would definitely recommend the Davis to our friends - and be back ourselves, hopefully to sample life at the Villas next time!
