The Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 23, on Soi 23, is convenient for shoppers who want to hit the fashionable Emporium shopping mall, or street stalls of lower Sukhumvit Road, or jump on the Skytrain’s Asok Station to get to the plethora of malls along Rama I Road, which Sukhumvit Road turns into. The digs are cosy and their price is reasonable.

I did not use the gym but was impressed with the equipment. Sadly the pool was too small to use for swimming. I was put on a wrong tour but the hotel paid for the expenses although I lost a day of seeing BKK (which distrubed me). I wish that the internet was at no charge as they did offer wireless at no charge. So using their two pcs located in the lobby was at a charge.Traveling with a PC is not always convenient. If I had I would have had free internet. Why not allow paying guests to use these two unused PCs for free too?...

Staff are friendly, clean room, no variations on food served for breakfast (you end up eating the same food everyday) very small swimming pool. We stayed in room 616. Unfortunately when we left the hotel, my son has forgotten to take with him some silver jewelleries that he has purchased as gifts for his friends. I emailed back the hotel and received a response that they did not find the items : )
