The Internet connection in the business center is expensive. Many hotels offer that free nowadays. Excellent breakfast buffet. Didn't use other restaurants. Overall staff is good, but not excellent. I have experienced better in comparable hotels. Not much shopping nearby, but very close to a subway stop, which is very convenient. I will definitely stay there again as long as the price remains the same....

Had a wonderful stay at the Chaophya Hotel. Great breakfast buffet. Really get your money's worth. Doorman was very friendly. Wait staff in restaurant very efficient. Good live entertainment. Too far from city centre. However, would gladly stay here on my next visit to Bangkok if rate remains competitive.

Room was great value for money, well appointed, clean, large rooms, delightful. Hotel is quite a way from city centre but if you want to go to the weekend markets relatively close. Only around 600 meters from subway. Only one thing I didn't find to good was that the bathroom water had an unpleasant smell,and left a lingering odour on your body after showering.

The room was beautiful!!! We also had dinner at the Cafe Shop and the food was excellent as well as the Breakfast Buffet!!! I will stay here next time I need to return to Bangkok!!

The waiters in Park Cafe were very accommodating when my husband asked them to bring my birthday cake to me during breakfast as a surprise. They even sang happy birthday. They even went an extra mile when they surprised me with a birthday cake waiting in my room. I think it was very nice of them to treat their guests like family.

The hair dryer worked, but became very hot and looked like a russian vacuum cleaner from the 70's. The pillows were rock hard. Loved all of the polished stone details in the building and the breakfast buffet was wonderful.

We would choose this hotel again. It takes approx. 20 minutes with MRP (local underground) to go to the "City Center" of Bangkok (Railsway Station). It is ca. 7 minutes walk to MRP. The breakfast is really delicious and the service is very good. If you do not mind that the hotel is actually not in the center of Bangkok, it is a very good choice.
Just a last side note: Go to Lumpini-Park. At 6 p.m. you can join lots of sport groups (worth to see) and afterward have a meal in the night market just around the corner.

Having not stayed at the hotel for quite some time, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly welcome of the check-in staff and that they recognised me as a valued repeat customer. Rooms at the hotel are generally spacious, comfortable and clean. Only complaint would be about the television as it has only a very limited choice of programs and picture quality is unsatisfactory, probably due to poor reception. This is something which surely could be improved without major expense to the hotel.

The room was quite big, clean and well-equipped. While maids and porters are very nice and friendly, restaurant staff, receptionists and cashiers should improve their attitudes. The breakfast service should be improved. The food selections were quite limited and repetitive. All in all it is value for money with easy access to the airport and metro.

This hotel is located to the North East of Bangkok and is very handy for the airport. It is only a two minute walk to the subway station where you can get trains to the downtown areas. The subway is state-of-the-art and easy to use. The hotel was excellent and faultless. Highly recommended.
