We arrived late in the evening and check-in was very efficient. We are on our beds in no time. I didn't expected that the lobby on our floor is that huge, I mean you could play bowling with a space that big. Location is very accessible. BTS and river pier is just around the corner. You got Robinson's mall connected to the ground lobby and McDonalds is 24 hours. The Lebua State Tower is nearby and you can have dinner in Sirocco or have a drink at the Sky Bar. Other Hotels such as Shangrila and the Peninsula are nearby as well. Since this is a serviced apartment you got a standard refrigerator, ...

Excellent location and close to nearby essential amenities like shopping areas, food outlets, public transport system, etc. Rooms were clean and spacious and facilities were in tip top conditions. Food and services at the Cafe during breakfast can be improved. Tables were not cleared promptly and despite repeated requests.Top value for money if price do not escalate or increase.

I definitely would like to stay in this Hotel the next time I visit Bangkok. Highly recommended!

We only stayed a couple of nights, so didnt use all the facilities on offer. Staff were very friendly, hotel was spotless, rooms very big. Car parking was a pain, as we had to drive up about 10 floor levels to reach the hotels parking facilities. Robinson Shopping mall at the bottom of hotel was good, with a few 'western' eateries. Plenty of tuk-tuk drivers and local shops in the vicinity. About 5 mins walk to the BTS system.

This was our second stay at Centre Point Silom. The room was wonderful. Large and with a beautiful view of Bangkok and a wonderful shower. Love that it is just steps away from BTS and the river. Very convenient to have a grocery next door as well as McDonalds. I don't actually eat in McDonalds at home but we were sure glad to see those golden arches. The security staff and housekeeping were wonderful. I was a little disappointed with the front desk this visit. They were efficient. and polite, but they just weren't very friendly and were rather sullen. I would definetly stay there again because it is a wonderful value.

The motto for Centre Point is "You'll Call It Home!" and this studio apartment fits the description perfectly. A spacious room with a fully-equipped kitchen and modern appliances (including a washing machine, microwave, cooker and refridgerator) this really felt like a home from home. The room did not look anything like the published photographs, so I assume I was given one of the newly renovated ones. It was bright, fresh and clean with no smells. The bed was huge and felt bigger than my own kingsize. The television had several complimentary cable and satellite channels (in different languages) and a stereo system was supplied. The bathroom was of a good size with both a bath and seperate, large shower cubicle. The water pressure was excellent and always ran hot. Day and night. I especially loked the CCTV, 24-hours security system which could be monitored from the TV set in the room and the polite well-trained duty guards which restricted access to the building. The apartment is annexed to a large, well stocked department store (with a food court in the basement) which stays open until late. Again security prevents any non-residents from using the direct access to the residence. Apart from the usual food stalls outside, there is a KFC, McDonalds and Pizza restaurant as part of the store. Although I was disappointed by the surrounding district, the location of the apartment block provided for good transportation links. Transport is mainly by taxi (which are inexpensive) and which the hotel staff will arrange for you or, for the brave, by tuk tuk (which can be very expensive for the unwary) which will arrange themselves!!. Bus routes make no sense at all. The skytrain is about a five minute walk and the central pier (for all river trips and sightseeing) is beside the station. There are no bars nearby, but I would recommend the Jameson Bar (which is part of the Holiday Inn) which is only a 10-15 minute walk (or inexpensive taxi ride) away. A relatively cheap, very clean and safe bar - often with live entertainment and no annoying 'pick-up' girls.

In addition to this, simple requests for toilet paper (that I had run out of) and other basic requests were promised but never delivered (in spite repeated requests and repeated promises that they would be delivered). As well, in spite a number of requests for a service-engineering person to please leave my room - he refused. I had to request security to ask him to leave. While the location was great, I would not recommend this facility nor would I stay there again.

I have stayed in this facitity many times. THis time they were not up to quality in service. I arrived at 1 am and I received a poor room and had to change rooms the next day. There was no hot water in the first room. That is unacceptible. They made no offers to compensate for their mistakes.

The hotel is above Robinsons near Taksin bridge and is really an apartment complex. This means that you are very self sufficient if you need to be. The rooms are very large and I had a very good view of the river. Breakfast was very good with all the various types of food for several nationalities being served. Only problem is finding the entrance as renovation work is currently being carried out.

We will definitely arrange our next stay in Bangkok at Centr Point Silon, without hesitation. Despite (pre advised) renovations being carried out, the quality of our stay exceeded expectation. The room, staff, location, facilities were all absolutley perfect. The hotel is situated on top of a 4 or 5 level department store, one floor holding a small 'soft play' area and a thai food hall, which made dining with our 2 year old a dream, so in addition to room service and the hotel restaurant, a pizza restaurant and a McDonalds all in the same building, all our culinary bases were covered in one building! It is a fab position for sky train (4 mins walk?), pier for river taxi's and tours (4 mins) is a 20 min (& £1 - 70 baht) tuk tuk ride to MBK mall (amazing mall!!) and there are loads of shops and pharmacies nearby. We never felt unsafe at all. The hotel was clean, attractive, the staff were amazing and we look forward to our return very much!

Exceptionally good value and a great location: 2 min walk from a BTS station and the central ferry pier. We were delighted with the size of our apartment , with the sweeping view of the river and by the fact that there were doors opening out to the balcony. There were major renovations underway during our stay but these did not cause us any inconvenience. The staff were without exception polite and helpful. Huge, spotlessly clean, with good kitchen facilities, excellent hot water, quiet air conditioning, a sofa and several easy chairs, two flat screen televisions, DVD and CD players. Very close to BTS & ferries, with a department store and supermarket in the same building. The location is more Bangrak than Silom, however, and there aren't really any tourist-friendly restaurants nearby and certainly no bars. Lots of street food and an interesting street market in ther next street.

The size of the apartement was huge and comfortable. We enjoyed having our own washing maschine in the room, especially since we ended our vaccation in Bangkok and could return back home with clean clothes. The apartement was also quiet, so getting enough sleep was not a problem in busy Bangkok. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the gym. The location og the hotel is great, close to the sky train, markets and the river with lots of good restaurants. The staff was exellent, we got extremely good service! So we had a very nice stay in center point cilom, Bangkok.

Large, fully furnished kitchen, washing machine - furnishing perhaps a bit dated but great value for money. Conveniently located to the river, large suite, even a washing machine. Front desk was very helpful and promptly met all my needs. The pool is lovely. Fitness center excellent. Restaurant ok and empty most of the time except for breakfast - of course, with so many places to eat in Bangkok why would you eat in the hotel. Close to river, convenient to Silom and Patpong. I will return to this hotel.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are huge, modern and clean. We loved the luxurious bathroom. Breakfast buffet was excellant and so too was dinnner we ordered in to the room. ONly complaint was that I had a thai massage in my room and the lady talked the entire time about how little she was paid by the centre point apartments and had to walk home and complained about the small tip I gave her.....needless to say she actually deserved no tip at all as the massage was shocking . I would definately stay here again.

Full praise for the Centrepoint Silom, a top place to stay and a bargain price wise for the quality. Our previous stays in Bangkok had included the Peninsula, Marriott and the Sofitel, all top class but on this trip we wanted to check out the Apartment Style accommodation and from reviews chose the Centrepoint Silom as it had river views. Our accommodation in a one bedroom with river views was just outstanding, the room size quite impressive. Apartments are stylishly furnished with top quality inclusions and free internet to the room. Did have a look at the studio’s and they are much larger than an average Hotel room and very well appointed as well. Location suited us, close to Saphin Taksin Sky Train and for journeys on the River. Being above the Robinson Department Store was another advantage with its supermarket on the lower ground floor very handy for any supplies. Hotel gave us a later checkout which we appreciated. Will definitely return here on future trips.

I was very impressed by the hotel's location, service, room sizes and general balance of friendliness and professionalism from the staff. We stayed 3 nights, went south for a week and then another 2 nights. Location is great - short walk from skytrain (and links to MRTA subway), short walk from the riverboat (access to old city) and short drive from the main highway (so journey to/from new airport was ok). About 15 minutes walk is "Silom Village" which has a small range of restaurants, there's a couple of 7-11 round the corner and Robinsons downstairs. We chose a serviced apartment because I've used them before (over 200 nights in last 6 years, plus another 800 in hotels). One negative point for me is the kitchen and laundry - for long stays you need separate washing machine, dryer and dishwaser with well stocked utensils and consumables. Our apartment had a washer/dryer and limited utensils - so if you're planning a long stay I would check out the details. I didn't use in-room internet - but they claim they have it which is good. So - would I stay at Silom Centre Point again? - most definitely I would, and I've already recommended it to other people. While I was there I met other people who had returned there many times - so it's not just me!!

Our second stay at CPS. Big, comfortable suites with good beds. Free high speed internet in rooms, nice kitchen, big showers, very quiet (never heard a single other guest). Location near Saphan Taksin skytrain station and river terminal. Neighborhood is working class, and Bangkok streets are crowded (everywhere), but we like the overall package. Best of all, the restaurant makes terrific breakfasts and Thai food all day, so inexpensive: $2.10 US for many dishes, $6 for buffet breakfast (often included). Yum! And the staff is super-attentive and nice. Excellent value. Our preferred serviced apartment in Bangkok.

I love the size of the room and it's facilities. Travelling with a family it is a bonus to have a washing machine. The restaurant and room service are excellent and great value for money. The staff are very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Location of hotel suits are needs, with Robinsons part of the hotel, taxi availability and proximity to Silom Road.

There was really nothing I didn't like about this hotel. I was particularly impressed that I got a suite for the same price I would normally pay for a good hotel room. The suite was very large and excellently equipped with a wonderful bathroom. Even the bed was comfortable, which I find to be quite rare. I have already recommended the hotel to friends. The only problem I had with the place was that taxi drivers had never heard of it but after the first day I was able to direct them there.
