Rated #48 for all Bangkok hotels
very catered towards business travellers, but the rooms are fantastic for any purpose. Room service is amazingly fast and the food is gorgeous. Standard of rooms are unbelievable - in cardiff it would cost about £2000 a month to live in a similar standard room/apartment with the same amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to bangkok who feel like a night of luxury. I requested the highest room possible and got the 29th floor - absolutely brilliant. great breakfast too. Can't really rave about it enough. Just go there. I paid £35 for one night - around here a rubbish travellodg...

The hot water shower is not working well, on-off. Made showering a hassle as we need to keep turning the tap to adjust the water to desire temperature frequently. The lift can also get cranky... Go to a few different levels before our level, although we did not select those levels.

Love the room space and would definitely stay at this hotel again. One set back though, there are ants everywhere, the small tiny ones. If the ants are taken care off, the room will be the best of the best. The first time we stayed which was last year, the front desk staff was not friendly to Asians, this time round, they are much friendly. Maybe coz they have new staffs. The breakfast was ok, floor staffs friendly except the one in black jacket. Don't response when we say thank you and don't smile. Don't know why. He should learn from his staffs that are ever courteous and friendly. Overall, love to stay here again.

The location is centralized, near to Pratunam Wholesale Centre, Pratunam Centre, Platinum Mall and Pantip plaza. Plenty of taxi on the main road. However, walking to the BTS station is quite a chore, taking taxi is a better choice. Shopping areas are in the vicinity, taxi fare is still relatively cheap if the cost is charged by the meter. Room is big, having a balcony, a large king size bed, dressing table, small dining table, a mini kitchen, sofa etc. The lobby is well designed, having comfortable rest areas for people who have not checked in or are waiting to leave the place for the airport. Staff are friendly. American breakfast served in the hotel was generally good, although there is not much of variety. Most of the food served remain unchanged throughout our 3 days stay in the hotel. Overall, the money was well spent for booking this room. Value for money, comfortable.

The hotel room brought us to a different world from the rest of BKK.. it's simply wonderful! Within the 1st day of visit there, I called it "my home" already! Massage is conveniently located just next to our doorstep and the concierge/ security staff were so helpful in getting us our transport and doing translation for us so readily! Special thanks to the Mr. Nice Guy who fries my special order of the omelette every morning! Shopping's just a stone's throw away and we saved up on all the transport! We missed our stay here the most out of the whole trip! Thanks and we'll be back! ;-) Clean, Neat, Furnishing and Furniture were well-maintained. Business centre should be set up in a more private area with a few more computer units available. Swimming pool was rather small and a little "unhygienic" with people eating nearby and I could see bits of oily food floating on the water. Some of the staff, especially those at the reception area, should be more professional in providing services to all guests there. Will appreciate it too if those carrying out the service at tne breakfast area be more cheerful, especially early in the morning, it's nice to be welcomed warmly by them.
Food was not exactly properly cooked - some overcooked/ burnt rice was served; Different kind of vegetables was added together when the former kind was depleting, the service staff simply added the freshly cooked (different) ones right over them in the serving trays, in front of all customers! I love having all those channels made available to us on our TV sets. Size of pool is small and I dont really like it's current location. Can do with a little more fogging or insecticide-spraying? Was bitten thrice in the garden/ al fresco cafe area. Convenience is the key word and safe distance from the main street! Still has to wait for an empty cab to come by down the narrow streets.

I am more impressed with this motel every time I stay. Great breakfast ( included ). good parking, good views, can smoke ( if needed ), room very clean with kitchen, DVD & stereo and in the middle of the best shoping in Bangkok. Would highly recommend for family and has free internet ( ADSL ).Very good security. I have stayed in more expensive/exclusive motels in Bangkok and find this the best value for money.Taxi's and Tuk Tuk's at front of building 24/7.Very easy to get to, just tell driver to go to Pantip Plazza. Just accross the road.
Large very clean room with kitchen, views, cable TV and stereo/dvd player.Patio and good bathroom.I could not complain about room in the least. Quite frankly, the hotel has every thing you need. Reception staff freindly and speak good english. Room service good ( please give a tip ). I Only used breakfast buffet and room service for dinner but the best I have tryed in Bangkok. Very good in house staff. You can feel safe leaving valubles out. The best for shoping or a base for sight seeing. Taxi's & Tuk Tuk's at front of building.24/7.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Really like it.. especially the location and room.
Size of room is big, with 2 double bed.. Location is perfect, with lots of shopping mall and street vendor.. Will stay there again in future.Room is spacious and spotless clean. check in and out is fast.. hotel staff is helpful.
Only can comment on breakfast - not much variety, room for improvement.
Shopping mall all over within walking distance. Easy to get Tuk Tuk or taxi.
Very quiet place even in the center of shopping malls..

everything you need and more - great room, pool, sauna, jazuzi, gym, great breakfast. room service amazingly fast. Food delicious. difficult to find at first, due to lack of knowledge in regards to how streets run in the area. not an obvious location at all, but once found its great. staff willing to summon you anything you want m- tuk tuk or taxi. and sky train very close by.

My friend and I took our granddaughters aged 9 and 13 to Thailand for a holiday and stayed at this hotel. We found the hotel awesome - rooms huge, kitchenette fantastic, bathrooms large and clean. Breakfasts were also fantastic with a huge variety of food from fruits, yoghurts to hot dishes. My granddaughter particularly loved their croissants.
We had two roms connected by a door, which made it feel like one big apartment. The rooms each had a balcony which we loved as we were on 20th floor and were able to see all around us from the balcony. The hotel is within walking distance of shopping which we too liked. Plenty of taxis/tuk tuk outside hotel. The security staff were very friendly and made the children feel very welcome. Pool area although not huge was thoroughly enjoyed by the children.
I would definitely stay there next time I'm in Bangkok and have already recommended to friends and family. huge area, interconnecting door, very clean, large clean bathroom. staff not pushy but available when requested. great food.
great pool area for childrens. close to everything. plenty of taxis and tuk tuks.
Bookings through this site were very easy and price also was great.

Centre Point Petchburri is one of the best hotels I've stayed in while in Bangkok. The room was spacious and clean with just the right amenities that a guest may appreciate. The location is ideal for shopping which was what my wife and kids went there for in the first
place. I couldn't complain about the buffet breakfast either although the food could use a little variety. Overall, I'd say that it was a pleasant stay and I wouldn't mind staying in that

Borders Pratanum (clothing shops) and opposite Prancip Plaza (computer gear). Good sized room with kitchenette. No coffee/tea despite having kettle. No tissues (a first for me!). Breakfast is okay but the layout in the restaurant is hopeless and needs managerial attention. Generally good amenities - but no coffee/tea. Big empty refrigerator. No tissues in room! Pool, Gym etc. Free tea/coffee in the lobby. Friendly and efficient staff. Responsive. Food was okay - but typical 3* tourist hotel fare. The layout of the breakfast buffet was bizarre. There were duplicate serveries (for no apparent reason). Coffee was via a single-cup coffee machine - nice idea, but slow (mine ran out of beans). Have the old coffee pot as an option. Very clean. Disappointed that the kitchenette sink leaked badly. Spent my last morning mopping the floor. No bar. Restaurant available but limited beverages. Kitchenette sink leaked water across the floor. Comfy bed, good selection of TV channels. Staff helpful. Advertise free WiFi but charge in the lobby. Pretty good value. Nice setting on the pool - but overly strict rules for use. You can't just wander in. You must first change shoes and dip your feet - even to just 'have a look'.
Pratanum is quite a dirty area (mind the rats) but great for buying clothes. Opposite a major computer plaza - good for buying both hardware and software.
Always taxis and tuk-tuks nearby.

I was astonished by this appartments. They trully are stylish, definately more than I expected. From the moment i walked in......WOW.... Who needs the Hilton. My friend was staying at the Novotel and was amazed when she came to my room. The staff are so friendly and very efficient (speak English). The security guys call a cab for you so you dont struggle to get on yourself and get ripped off. If you are nice they even help you carry your shopping to your room (girls this comes in handy, shopping is cheap even for those who dont shop like myself, you come back with big santa sacks). The rooms were so big i almost organised a football match while there. The appartments are literally 2 min away. FABULOUS!!!! There is a choice of KFC and Burger King 1min away (for those who dont like hot food- which it mostly is). In the room, you have free internet acess, but it is pluged into the wall so if you have a wireless router, carry it. The tv has western chanels so you dont get bored watching Thai tv in Thai. I could write a whole book on this place but i hope this is enough to help you make up your mind. I will definately stay here again when I go back. PERFECTLY ELLEGANT!!!!!

What a fabulous base to explore Bangkok. The location was excellent - close to shopping centres and many restaurants. The hotel itself offered my family everything we were looking for. I stayed this hotel for 2periods of times which was on a way to Pattaya in
early Dec.2007. The location is excellent for shopping but terrible with
downtown traffics. It's took more than 1hour by taxi from Suvarnabhumi
airport. I stayed Superior suite on 24th floor on both period of times.
The room was excellent, wide enough and clean, required all amenities are
perfectly. The counter staffs are very friendly and did great job for both
checkin and checkout. The breakfast served by the restaurant on ground
floor as buffet style and taste excellent. Free highspeed internet required
each room is excellent too.

I really love the place, the room is big, clean, and was surprised with the mini kitchen complete with utensils, stove, microwave oven, toaster and a very big fridge. I also love the daily buffet breakfast.

I booked this room before i travelled to Bangkok based mostly on the positive reviews on this and other websites. Now it's my turn to add my 2 cents' worth. Firstly, on the rooms, they were truly big, clean and spacious. For the price i paid, it was definitely more than worthwhile. My room was on the 5th floor, which gave us a good view from the balconey of the swimming pool and the restaurant, even though we didn't have time to use the pool. Overall, a very nice stay in a 4 star hotel at 2 star prices, and i regret we only had 2 nights there. The location is also pretty good, just maybe 20-30 metres into Petchburi Soi 15 from the main road, where there's a bus stop, as well as 7-11 and Burger King outlets. When yoyu cross the overhead bridge, you hit Pantip Plaza for any IT related gadgets that you may be looking for. The major shopping centres are perhaps just a 10-15 minute cab ride away, you can actuallly even walk to Central World, Pratunam (for clothes), or Big C Supermarket (for groceries), so you can't get much more central in terms of location wise. We took 45 mins at 6 in the evening to get to the airport for 300 THB, so that wasn't that bad either.
One bad point, though, was the service at the front desk by the duty manager the day i checked in. If 1st impressions really count, then this was a bad one. He was a little rude and curt in responding to queries, as well as slow in that they would actually make you stand and wait at the reception while they took their

Like from most reviews that have been posted about this hotel is exacly what i have experience during my visit in bangkok. All the reviews written about the hotel really helped me on my decision.
Just like many other reviews, the receptionist are not very friendly & responsive. But it didn't bother me because i was warned about it & i will oni be seeing then twice in my stay..
The room in beautiful, big, clean... No complains at all... I would say, it is more then i paid for.. Picture that are posted are exactly how it is.. As u enter, on the left is the toilet that provide 3 huge bottle on shampoo, body wash & lotion ( not like all hotels that provides mini irritating bottles that is never enough) & on the right is a mini pantry with a mini stove, fridge & microwave.. As u enter, the bed will be on the left with a huge mirrow behind it. On the right is the dressing table with a nother huge mirrow. Beside it is a mini closet with mirrows on the door.. 1 thing that the room lack it lightings.. It can be abit dark...
The hotel location is very good. Not like many hotels around there, as you get out you will face the very noise & busy shopping market. But for Centre Point, it is located in a lane away from the noise & people..
Hotel food is excellent. My boyfriend has a very week stomach. He can't simply take street food so most time we order room service.. The hotel have a very wide selection of food. Price is very reasonable. Food is very good & tasty.. It takes only 15mi

The Hotel exceeded my expectations by far. It's location was better than I could have hoped for, the Internet LAN line was top quality, breakfast was that good I ended up putting on weight even though I was working out in the well equipped gym (with sauna's). I have never been as pleased as I was with this hotel and room. Top marks to Centre Point and I will be staying there again on my next trip to Bangkok. Highly recommended.

The studio room I booked was without a kitchen but was given with one. So it was unexpctedly great. Likewise the room was quite big as compared to the usual hotel rooms. It was really value for money. The only downside is my experience when checking out. After getting back my $100 deposit, the receptionist didn't even bother to say "thank you for staying". But again, that's only minor. Defiinitely a highly recommended accomodation!

Excellent position for those who are looking for a great shopping spot. Close to lots of big dept stores and right next to the Pratunam Market, and Indra Market at night. Stayed in the studio and it was very large and very well maintained. Breakfast was great with something for everyone available. The staff were very helpful and extremely polite except for the front counter staff. They gave the impression that were superior to everyone including the guests, they were not a problem just not very happy or overly helpful. Overall I would be most likely to stay here again especially at the rate I got from HotelTravel.com. I was very happy so would be happy to recommend to others.

Hotel's great. The only sad thing is that the front office staffs especially the ladies are not friendly at all. I've been to Bangkok so many times and I seldom encounter the people not smiling. The front office ladies don't smile and seem not happy serving you but we notice that they smile so sweetly when serving the Caucasion...guess they don't like serving Asians..

The location is excellent for shopping! We walked most of the time & didn't have to take public transport except to Chatuchak market. The room is clean & the air-con worked perfectly without any noise. I liked the hotel very much! The body lotion is sooo good that I bought one bottle from the hotel! Like most of the reviews, the reception staff is not friendly but the security staff are wonderful - they salute you! The food is not bad.

The hotel is better than expected. The room was very large and well-kept. Furthermore, they recently renovated this property. The location offers endless shopping opportunities at your doorstep. With such exceptional value, I would never choose any other hotel when I am in Bangkok.

The best part was the huge room, beds and family size fridge. Wish our stay was longer. Will definitely book this hotel again in future. Walk to nearby shops and malls were close enough. The staff speak very good English, very efficient, warm and friendly. They even advised us to take a cab to the airport which would cost only 300 baht rather than the hotel transport which will cost us 1400 baht. We were astounded by their honesty. They deserve our highest compliments.

Location is diagonally opp. Grand Diamond. About 10mins walk to Pratunam Centre and 15mins walks to MBK. Non-smoking rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped with kitchen utensils. It will be great if they provide facial tissue papers in the room.
But don't expect warm & friendly staff especially the front desk.....it was kinda of "under-staff"???

It's a really nice hotel for holiday staying with friends. The room is good for two people and the service is nice. Just that some of the staffs seem to have problems with spoken English, which brings some trouble. The breakfast, as indicated by the previous users, has improved a lot. It a nice and enjoyable staying there and will definately come back again. Oh, the BBQ fish along the stree in front of central world (walking distance from hotel) is awsome!!

Technically the hotel is clean, well equipped, I especially liked the free BB-Internet access in the room. The elevators are an issue, I stayed at the 15th floor, yet the delays were often annoying. Sometimes one of the only three elevators was not working at all. Breakfast is OK, but not overly exciting. Location is OK but 10 min. from the Sky Train.

This was a last stop for us before returning to England after a summer of grotty hostels. We were very impressed with the room. The only let down was the shower as the water would be hot one minute and freezing the next! The breakfasts were lovely but we found it best early morning when it was less busy and the food servers were full. We did find that we waited a while for food to come out of the kitchen once these were empty. However, the staff are very friendly and if you ask they do their best to hurry things along. We had room service one night which was very reasonably priced and the food was lovely. All the staff were very polite and eager to help. We were however very disappointed with two things. This hotel has 28 floors and only two working lifts so sometimes you are left standing waiting for ages. Also the swimming pool was not in use and wont be until late september as I understood but they do run a shuttle bus twice a day to another hotel for the use of their pool if you wish. As we were in our last few days we were busy shopping, and the time that they would run the shuttle bus to the hotel was inconvienient for us so we missed out all together. However, I would consider staying here again as these problems are easily forgotten in comparison to what the hotel has to offer.

The room is splendid and very convenient for us since we had a 2yr child with us. Also the location is fabulous as it's close to the wholesale shopping centres. Unfortunately, the place was under going renovation so we did not have the chance to make use of the swimming pool and it took ages to use the lift. However, will certainly go back to this hotel on our next trip and hopefully the receptionists would make an effort to smile more..even the security guards seemed more friendly than the front desk folks.

The swimming pool was not open while I was staying for 3 days. The room was clean and spacious. The corridor and elevators were a little run down. There were only two elevators working so it took quite some time each time to get on an elevator. The breakfast was pretty good for considering the price for the room. I liked the fact that the internet line could be connected to the laptop in my room. Although the area seemed to be pretty safe, it was awfully quiet around late at night, so it would be better to ride a taxi to the hotel rather than walking. I didn't find it difficult to walk my way around, but some may consider it to be a little far from the BTS or world trade center. Since the taxi fare is very cheap in Bangkok, so it is not much of a problem.

Good size room, clean, comfortable bed. If the room faces the main road it can be noisy, and also the hallway telephone can be ringing at odd hours (it is so loud it sounds like my room's phone). Almost 15-20 minute walk to Rajthevee BTS. Accross from Pantip Computer plaza, and good shopping.

Excellent for the price. Large, spacious and clean. TV was a little small, but we didn't use it anyway. Family brings me to BKK about 5 or 6 times each year and I get to stay at a wide variety of hotels. Centre Point is a good choice as it is close to Platinum Fashion Mall and Central World Plaza (entertainment and shopping). Good for families as it is not located near the gogo bars. Taxi fare from the Airport is around 270bt, including road toll (40bt) and airport levy (50bt). The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly. The place is excellent value for the money. Just outside is a couple of hairdresser/massage shops, where you can get an hour long foot and leg massage for less than 300bt. Welcome relief after spending the morning on your feet shopping for clothes for the family. By the way, in Platinum fashion mall you should be able to get shirts for less than 200bt, jeans and dress pants for less than 300bt and shoes range from 100-700bt. Try to dine at Thai restaurants in the area - main courses are 50-100bt.
