The Buddy Lodge was a nice oasis in the middle of the Khaosan chaos. The rooms are very clean, the sheets are super soft and the staff is very courteous. There's a great coffee shop downstairs and the hotel restaurant was also good. The rooftop pool was nice, and never crowded for some reason. We were amazed that we couldn't hear a peep from Khaosan road...it was very quiet. The Buddy is a little on the pricer side but well worth a stay after saving on cheap bungalows in the south. ...

My 6 year daughter and I liked the rooftop pool the most and of course the location. Did not like the noise level from the in house karaoke bar.

Size of the room was good and both rooms we stayed were clean although some repairing should be done in the bathroom. 3rd floor rooms could be quite noisy due to the location of a night club which locates inside the building, away from Khao San Road entrance. Higher floors may not be affected this. Good security and a great roof top pool. Gym seemed ok. Good value for money if you wish to stay at Khao San Road.

Lots of local color. An affordable hotel of a good standard. Sometimes requires a short street walk from taxi drop-off point, depending which end of Khaosan Road is the drop-off point.

Well located to discover Bangkok. I's a pleasure to go to the swimming pool on the evening. Good breakfast. The staff is not so friendly but it is a good choice, above all for families. Small room. Beds are not very comfortable. But clean.
the swimming pool is a plus at this rate. There could be more facilities.
No help for luggage, poor in English language and not so kind. Nice breakfast.

Was better when it was new.
It's still a nice one, if you're in the idea of stating in Kho san road, but it's expensive for no reason.
