The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall a good choice for a 2 star hotel, near to major shopping area, you will nvr go hungry with road side stalls all around the hotel, if you dun like road side stalls, the nearest food court is just next door in 'Big C' supermart. The aircon in room can be noisy, we had 3 rooms, all with the same problem. Bed bugs are spotted in room no 801, but luckily no one is begin bitten. : )Will book this hotel again for sure.

The location was good. It's near to a lot of shopping places like Platinum Fashion Mall, Centralworld, Zen, Pratunam, etc. It's also near to Big C where there is a huge supermarket where you can buy drinks, tidbits during your hotel stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room facilities should be improved. There is no safe in the room and the air-conditioned at the corridor of the hotel were not on. The shower head of the bathroom was too low when I am not even 1.7m tall. Given the convenience and price of the hotel, I wouldn't mind choosing this hotel again the next time I visit BKK.

The Ups: It's just a 5-min walk from Platinum Mall. After the entire day of shopping i'd come back to drop my bags, rest for a while before heading out for dinner and nightlife. The breakfast provided is buffet style, but it was almost the same foods everyday - the cooked dishes are fried rice, stir fried noodles/beehoon, eggs (sunnyside up or scrambled), sausages, porridge. The rest are toast with the same jams, same drinks daily (orange guava plainwater) and mini salad corner. Though very limited in choice and taste was only so-so, i appreciate it as the room rate is considered low.
The Downs: There were bed bugs! I never had a bed bug attack before and this time my boyfriend saw all the red patches on my body that's exposed to the bed he could recognise them. On my last night, i used my own towels to separate my skin and the pillowcase/bedsheet and the itch wasn't as bad. I really wonder if they change the pillow/pillowcase often (the other sheets are changed).
They were also changing the floor lining at the lobby/corridoor area and all the drilling noises were very frustrating. However this only happened during daytime, at about 10am to 6pm. I wouldn't stay here again as cleanliness is one of my top criteria even if the furnishings are old and there was an odour in the room (should be from cigarette smoke).

This hotel is in a good location, minutes from Big C but quite a distance to BTS. The buffet breakfast was average. It would have been better had they include breakfast cereals. The carpets and the walls in the room need painting and the shower curtains needs changing or a washing.

The hotel is well run by friendly staff. The rooms have been spruced up, bringing the hotel up to a standard acceptable for a mid-range inner city Hotel. The price is good, breakfast adequate and good central location although a bit tricky to drive to at rush hour. Canal boats 30m from the hotel make for a cheap and fun way to see the city. Excellent shopping centre nearby and Skytrain around the corner.

The furnishings are simple but the location really made up for all other shortcomings... It is rather hard to find the first time, especially in the night. The breakfast is standard and seems to have little changes only. But what would you expect for a budget hotel. There are almost no facilities (pool, etc) but the service and security is pretty decent. Highly reccommended if you are only looking for a place to sleep. If you want fancy stuff, this is not the place to go. :)

The hotel is excellently located. The sky train is a 5min walk, the world trade center too and most most importantly, PLATINUM mall (great for young ladies to shop in the pleasure of air conditioning). At night when all the malls close, the road stalls are great to get a snack or two and even shop! you'll be surprise of the bargains they have. Although its located infront of a discrete sex club, its very safe. 3 of my girlfriends and I were walking arnd at midnight attracting only a couple of harmless although lewd stares. The only bad side to the hotel is that its alil hard to get to at first because apparently some raods are closed. So do try and get the phone number of the hotel so that you taxi driver can call for directions. The staff are friendly, the place is not spooky, the breakfast is decent, and the rooms are simple, cosy (good enough for 2-3 people to fit in) and clean. Apparently though, my friend got a better online rate for her stay in the hotel than me, so do scout around for the best prices to get your money's worth. :) HIGHLY RECOMMENED HOTEL! Definitely will be back. :)
Good amount of space for a max of 3 people. Clean and does not smell mouldy like some hotels. Not bad facilities - theres a restaurant and a nice lobby to wait for friends. No pool though, but hey, I come to bangkok to shop. Good coz they are always friendly and professional. They can get alil snappy tho, but they work long hours so its understandable. The familiar faces make it easuer to get acquainted with them. I guess you have a few gd seafood outlets nearby.. the foodcourts at Platinum and WT offer pretty gd choices of food. If you wanna be more adventurous, there are many roadside stalls to take advantage of.
Near all the transprot facilities u need .. even boat rides. Plus, near all good shopping places like Platinum, Worldtrade and the pratunam market.

I like most because it close to shopping complex and 10 minutes walk to BTS. However, the service was bad that I need to intercom 4 times in order to get a pot of hot water because they didn't have kettle, the breakfast was bad, no swimming pool, no safe box and smelly corridor because they don't allocate aircond at the corridor (I think to safe money) and not value for money. I will not stay here anymore even it's cheaper, I rather pay for a few more dollors to get a better one.

The furniture, the setting of bed, bathroom and the decor of the room was fantastic. Towel, bedsheets and toiletries are all new, house keeping was done everyday. Breakfast was deserving petite, and with different menu everyday. What I had read from other guest comment, was all wrong. With all my own experience staying at Bangkok Inn, for my next trip it will be no other than Bangkok Inn. The hotel location have everything within a walking distance, that make a tourist feel like at home.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The room is ok but there is not much choice of TV channels available for foreigners, can only find HBO. Other than that, everything is fine.

The most i like about this hotel is the location, very close to shopping centres .The suroundings is not so nice ,a bit dirty and noisy.But the price is worth for those who love shopping.

Overall the stay at the hotel was a pleasant one except that the rooms are not sound proof, as we can hear people talking along the corridors. One of our rooms smell of cigarette which I think is because the previous guest might have smoked inside before.
The location of the hotel was good as its very near to all the shopping and eating areas.
Breakfast was good too as there are changes to the menus everyday, except that some days the coffee and tea tasted salty.

The location of this hotel is simply great and this is the main reason why I choose to stay at this hotel. Some rooms are good, some need some work (stain on carpets, moldy smell etc..) but overall, it is an okay hotel.

The room is quite big for 2 persons, however there is no safety deposit to keep our valuable things. The location of the hotel is closed to shopping malls however, most of taxi does not know the exact location of the hotel as it is not located at the main street. Some of the staffs are friendly but some of the staffs are very rude. The service at the restaurant is not good. No smilling or friendly face at all.

Of course it's not a 4, 5 star hotel, but if you're just using the hotel as a place to sleep, then it's good value for money. The rooms are fairly large and staff are friendly and helpful. Across from World Trade Center/Isetan. Close to skytrain and taxis are always available.

Taxi service is not helpful for foreigners because of high price.
Hotel location is so excellent for shopping. Just at the opposite side of World Trade Center. If you are crazy about shopping, this is a good choice for you. The facilities are old, but it is good for 2-star hotel

good for the price. convenient location, a little hard for cab drivers to find as it is down a series of winding back streets of the main roadway. no pool or fitness centre if anyone cares about these kinds of things.
