Basically i like the location best, not so much affected by the traffic jam during peak hour. Hope there is more variety on the breakfast when visit in future or maybe the dishes could be change every two days - had been taken same breakfast for the 5-day stay....

Overall we were happy with the hotel we stayed at and would stay again. The staff were friendly and polite. Rooms clean and the breakfast included in the price was very nice and good choice. taxi prices were roughly 4 times the price of a metered taxi available just over the road from the hotel!!! Road noisy outside / on second visit our room was just above the lounge that had a loud function until 2 am, however they offered to change our room, so no real gripe here... My only real gripe was the hotel taxi charges to go anywhere were roughly 4 times the price of a metered taxi so we chose to go over the road to the station and hail one down there…. Other problems I had was the chemicals in the swimming pool gave a green tinge to my hair. I complained to the Manager and she did take me to a hairdresser and pay to try and sort it out. The hairdresser was absolutely useless though and had no understanding of curly European hair and seemed to think a nice head massage would sort out the green tinges at the ends… When she had finished shampooing my hair resembled a brillo pad and still with the green tinge but I was scared if that was the result of just a wash and head massage, to ask her to attempt to get the green out, which was the whole point of the hotel manager taking me! However this was not the hotel’s fault. But just a warning to wear a cap if you have blonde hair in the hotel pool and not to go to a Thai hairdresser!! The other problem was the noise level – we did take earplugs and so it did not bother us too much the first time – we stayed on the way there and the way back. The first time, we had a room facing the main road, which throughout the night would have kept us awake if we had not had earplugs. The second time we were given a room at the back, which we thought perfect, until we tried to sleep around midnight only for there to be a function with loud music until 2 am in the main lounge just below our room. We did complain and to give the hotel credit they offered to change our room, but as we were flying back the next day we didn’t bother and just rammed our ear plugs a little further into our ears. Despite the above problems we had, each time the hotel were willing to resolve our issues and so for this reason, I would stay again as overall for the price ,the service, breakfast and proximity to the train station was good. My only tips would be to bring ear plugs, don’t use their taxi service & use a shower cap in the pool….

Hotel staff has given low priority to bookings made by Hotel.travel.com. They told me that all bookings are allotted to the 2nd and 3rd levels inspite of my pleas for higher levels. These levels are not renovated as yet and the air con isn't cold most of the time. The lady in charge of allocation is very rude and unfriendly. She pushed the blame for such allocation to the policy set by management. For your information I'm a frequent customer at Bangkok Centre and yet I received such poor treatment. I'm really disappointed. John-Singapore

Conveniently located near the tourist attraction with easy accessibility of public transportation. 1 let down point is the facilities of the hotel are aged. Overall, it is still value for money for this kind of budget hotel. Rated 7/10.

Excellent location, subway right in front of hotel entrance, can easily access to other parts of Bangkok, direct access to Chatuchak weekend market, Lumpini nite bazaar, transfer to skytrain at Silom and then connect to Siam Center or Sukhomvit. Quite near to China Town ( Metered Taxi about 50 baths only ), Grand Palace ( Metered Taxi about 80 bahts ), important cos u will spent less time stuck in Bangkok massive traffic jam. ( day and nite ). Set back is the room is too old and breakfast below average

Hotel was very average. My travellers cheques were stolen from my room whilst staying at the hotel. I only stayed here because it was close to the main train station. I wouldn't stay here again. There are many con artists sitting outside the hotel, the location was poor and the staff spoke limited english but i had no choice. Hope this info is useful.

The location it´s very good. They are making some renovations, but we where twice, at the beginig and at the end of our trip, and the two rooms we had, had and horrible bathroom, the rooms are quite old and the hotel has such a strange smell sometimes.

My room smelled like an astray and so did I after sleeping there one night. Good to be next to the train station if you need to get to the airport, the stinky room makes it hard to justify though.

I've booked and paid for a Deluxe room but I think I got a Standard. Some of the staffs are lazy. Breakfast close 15 min before they say. They do not have In Room Safe. The hotel offer massage but they will charge extra if you want to have in the room. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Bangkok and I’ll choose one of these, because you’ll get more value for your money and better service.
