We will miss staying here everytime we go into Bangkok. It was such a great over night stay. The rooms are newly painted this past year and the beds are so comfortable. Maybe they can move over by the new airport! If they will provide free rides to and from the new airport we will stay there again. I know it's far, but we really enjoy this hotel. It has been our favorite for a long time. We got there one a year....

Hotel was not booked but they had room in their apartment area so i am not sure who is at fault there, so i didn,t get the room i paid for. Not enough signs at or around the hotel when the taxi driver got there (he got lost) and no concierge around to ask when we finally got there. In the room there was no soap or shampoo and the shower did not work properly as it had so many leaks. I am glad it was only for one night as i would never stay there more than one night and never will again.

Because of its proximity to the airport, the hotel was particularly ideal for me as I was going to travel to Phuket after two days. Yet, the hotel was also adjacent to a huge shopping complex with lots of interesting stores, stalls, and restuarants.
My room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful and kind. I specially would like to thank Ms Ornusa one of the managing staff at the front desk who very kindly assisted me in getting my ticket to Phuket through the Thai Airways.
All in all I had real value for the money staying at Asia Airport hotel and I am grateful to Hotel travel for their arrangement and good services.

A bit of a dive, worn dirty carpet, cheap bedding, run down place that hasn't been renovated in years. Kind, knowledgable, responsive staff. 15 minutes from hotel to airport but 30 to 40 from airport to hotel! great price but not for what is offered. I stayed in several much, much finer hotels in Southeast Asia for same price.

Remember that Airport hotels are meant to be a place to crash for a night between flights. Shuttle to Don Muang airport. If you want a taxi get the front desk to organise it - easier than flagging one down in the street. The staff know you've got a plane to catch. Their English is acceptable and the airport shuttle starts from the wee hours of the morning. If you have more time, don't stay here - stay in central BKK itself. If you're stuck in BKK between flights and want to do some shopping for PC and electrical goods, music and DVD, then this is the place to stay. Close to the Don Muang airport, Asia Airport hotel is located right above a shopping mall specialising in computers and small electrical goods. You can pick up a camera, hard disk, MP3 player, CD, VCD, DVD, etc., simply by going down the lift. There are also a few clothings shops and plenty of places to eat. The shops close at around 7:00pm and open at around 10:00am. If on the other hand you would prefer to relax and enjoy the pool then you shouldn't stay here - Amari Airport is a more relaxing and better appointed hotel, connected to Don Muang airport. If you just want a cheap place to sleep try the Comfort Suites, 10 minutes from Don Muang.
The room here is satisfactory. Our room had two queen size beds. But there is no hi-tech bedside control centre and the TV is small. I found breakfast a boring affair in a tired looking dining room. The hotel is being renovated, which I thought would be compl

You don't stay at the Asia for a family holiday but normally it is used as a first or last night stopover. In this respect it cannot be faulted. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are good [but of course a bit run down] and most importantly the early morning call is as promised and the transport to the airport runs smoothly. Apart from that, the area around the hotel is both fascinating and sooo Thai. Well worth a few hours just wandering.

The hotel smells from food and cigarette smoke, the corridors are long and lifts are only at one corner of a square, which means long waiting at busy times in the morning. the locatoin is ok for going to the airport but quite poor for coming from the airport. It is far from the city. I would not stay there again if I can avoid it.

We only used this Hotel for 1 night stopover as it was close to Airport but were disappointed with it generally. It was old and needed a complete facelift in the rooms. We arrived at 9 pm and all the shops and quite a few of the restaurants were already closed leaving only the fast food outlets open. It is not a place to spend more than 1 night and we paid more for this Hotel than the one we stayed in the centre of Bangkok which was far superior.

Located directly above a shopping centre dedicated to selling computer equipment and accessories, the location is good if you're shopping for computers, music, movies, dvd, vcd or MP3 players. The hotel itself is ordinary and sufficient for an overnight stay. You wouldn't really want to spend more time there. I found the Comfort Suites a better hotel, but not so well located.

Hard to get a taxi. Cleaning service did not vacuum the carpet each day. I had problems bringing my girlfriend back to my hotel room each day, inspite of the fact that she was listed. They gouged me for internet ... charging $2.50 per 15 minutes. Good things are: breakfast was good each day, good money exchange and safety deposit box services.

This hotel is primarily used as a crash pad while waiting for early morning flights, or day use rooms between flights. The hotel is attached to a big shopping mall which offers some nice shopping diversions (provided you're there while the mall is open... up until 9 p.m.). Travelers will be amazed at how long it takes to get from the airport to the hotel (at least 15, maybe 20 minutes...) but the return trip is only 5 minutes. This hotel is probably doomed because once Don Muang airport closes in favor of the new airport, they lose the primary reason for their existance. The rooms are very basic and they don't feel that very well maintained.

I didnt really know what to expect because I had never been in a hotel in a foreign country but it wasn't as nice as i had anticipated. The balcony was kind of small and you had to be careful because it didn't seem to be well swept and going out barefoot was iffy. There was also a lot of pigeon poop. On the inside, you could tell that there were other people that had slept in that room before you and, although I know it is a hotel and people use the same rooms over and over, I dont like feeling like i'm sleeping in the same room as a thousand other people already have. There were dents in the walls (small ones) and the tiles around the bathtub had some mildew. It just looked like an average room. But the staff was really friendly.

Not a bad hotel and a decent value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I have to spend a night in Bangkok between flights.
