A really nice place with a very friendly staff. The strength of the hotel is its proximity to the Main Railway station of Lucerne. The breakfast arrangement in the sister hotel MONOPOL was excellant. I asked for a room on the higher floor and there was perfect silence. Anyway did not find much traffic on the road in front of the hotel. To sum it up , a place which was a real value for money.
I would like to recommend it to anyone who wants to tour Lucerne in a short span of two to three days. Since it located at a place from where connections to all the important tourist destinations are ava...

we stay at this Hotel for 2 nights. At first we stay at Flora but move to Alpina just to see which is better. Alpina room is better and the Location is excellent because the train station is only accross the road. Breakfast is also good. The only negative was that the elevator is so small that you can only fit 1 person with luggage at the time.

Only 4 parking spaces for 40 rooms. Parking cost 10 CHF per day, a bargain compared to the 40 CHF parking fines rigorously enforced on the street. Book a space if you are bringing a car.

Excellent location, very good breakfast as the service is provided with a neightbour 4-star hotel. good for couple considering the price, food, and the location. but if staying with young child, the bed is small. the room facility is clean, with a bit worn. Generally, it is a good choice.

Location was excellent as it was just across from the Luzern railway station and within walking distance of the old historical city and its many attractions. As breakfast (included in the room rate) was shared with those at the Monopol hotel (4-star), it was good. As there was no air-conditioning in the room, this could be a problem in summer. When the room windows are opened, the noise from the traffic below was very loud. However, the room had a standing fan which helped. As a result, we did not have to open the room windows. Excellent location and clean hotel room. Had a stand fan in the room. Good breakfast at the adjacent 4-star hotel in Monopol.

Hotel is very close to Station and its in center of city. Good to move around in any time. Breakfast was also very good. And rooms are cosy and comfortable. Overall the Hotel is Good.

Slighty Crowded location but excellent for location for commuting. just 100-200 mts from station , 100-200 mts from main bridge/ chapple bridge.. good place to stay.. but if like peaceful, calm place, then this hotel is not for u as this is stituated on main street just next to to the main rail station
