Selected this hotel due to its location, next to the Silja Line ferry terminal, with whom it is in fact connected via a covered walkway. The rooms are well furnished, the mattresses are above average. Breakfast selection is quite varied, and breakfast is well timed (starts already at 6:00 a.m.) to allow travellers to grab a bite before catching the Silja Line ferry that leaves each morning at 7:10 a.m. I would select this hotel again (this was my second stay at the Ariadne).

The hotel is clean, rooms are big but many of them face the hotel lobby. Breakfast is comprehensive but lacks the seafood element that is common to many scandinavian hotels. Only few TV channels. Free internet but only one terminal, so bring notebook. Public transport right in front of the hotel (bus 76, doesn't run on Sat. and Sun.). Surrounding harbor area just what one expects of harbors.
