Malmo, Sweden's third most populous city is one of its most popular visitor destinations, boasting a seaside location and a wealth of cultural and historical attractions. The city is also a favourite with greenery lovers on account of its excellent selection of parks, a feature that has earned it the nickname 'City of Parks'.
Within Malmo Castle’s grounds, this combined facility is a mixed bag of themes, with exhibits featuring everything from old steam engines, classic cars and early aeroplanes to interactive displays illustrating interesting principles of physics and chemistry. A ride on an old-fashioned tram is the highlight for many visitors, while for others the massive U-3 submarine in the maritime section is the biggest attraction.

Sightseeing in Malmo is a mixed affair, with visual treats both old and new comprising the most popular sights to take in on a city tour. Malmo Castle is the one place that no tourist wants to miss, not only for its splendid exterior but also for the wealth of fascinating viewing material contained within. In stark contrast to the classical architectural style of the castle is the modern magnificence of the eight-kilometre long Oresund Bridge.
The major gateway to Sweden's Oresund region and the means by which most international visitors arrive at the city, Malmo-Sturup International Airport is a modern aviation facility located 30 kilometres southeast of downtown Malmo. It's Sweden's third biggest airport and maintains connections with a large number of EU cities and major international destinations also.
EU visitors may enter Sweden with enough alcohol, tobacco and other goods deemed suitable for personal use without incurring duty payments, provided they are arriving from another country within the Union. Nationals of other countries (aged 20 or over) or anyone entering from outside of the EU are permitted the following duty-free allowance for alcoholic beverages: one litre of spirits or two litres of fortified or sparkling wine, two litres of wine and 32 litres of strong beer. For tobacco, the allowance is: 200 cigarettes or 250 grams of loose tobacco or 50 cigars or 100 cheroots.

This month's lucky winner is Mr. Laith Addabbas who lives in Jordan.
