I HAVE VISITED SRI LANKA MORE THAN 15 TIMES IN THE PAST 3 YEARS ON BUSINESS PURPOSE AND HAVE ONLY LIVED IN THIS HOTEL. IT IS THE SAFEST AND THE MOST STAFF FRIENDLY HOTEL I HAVE VISITED IN LANKA. IT IS LOCATED NEXT TO THE PRESIDENT'S HOUSE AND HENCE THE SECURITY LEVEL IS HIGHER WHICH MAKES ME FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE. EASILY ACCESSIBLE TO COLOMBO CENTRAL AND FOOD IS ALSO VERY GOOD. I WOULD BELIEVE THAT UNLESS YOU ARE A SUPER LUXURIOUS TRAVELLER, THIS HOTEL FITS EVERY OTHER TOURIST TYPE. AND ALSO IMPORTANTLY, VERY VERY COMPETITIVELY PRICED....

They do not what they have promissed to do. No box-breakfast was arranged and no tea-set was provided although they said they would arrange according to our request. Staff at the bar were enjoying themselves billiards without attending guests.

The staff is extremely cooperative and friendly. Secondly being in a high secutiry zone, it gives a great feeling of safety and that is very essential for a traveller. This is the 22nd time i have stayed at this hotel in the past 5 years and it has been a very comfortable experience.For a business traveller i always look to see how a hotel can provide free WI - FI connection however it is available at quite cheap prices from the souveneir shop in the lobby.
