Loved the on site bike hire! Disliked the chap in the adjoining room whos every phone conversation could be heard word for word! Poor service and food availability at breakfast on one of the mornings. Excellent location and spotlessly clean, good room size, great pool and terrace bar with good prices.

Superb value for the 55euros per night that we paid. This included an excellent buffet breakfast (there was a huge variety of food) for two of us.
Least liked the noise from other guests particularly at 3.30am! There was a large group of badly behaved boys staying there for a football tour while we were there. Sound proofing was poor.

When booking, I requested a non-smoking room with a double bed. On arrival I was given a smoking room with a double bed. I asked for a different room and was moved to a non-smoking room with two single beds! I went back to reception for the third time and asked again to be moved to what I had requested. This time they must have seen I was getting frustrated as they seemed to give me an upgrade - my room was a lot more spacious and had better facilities than my friends who checked in an hour later.After this the rest of the stay was great. No other issues, the hotel pool was great. I never woke up early enough to have the breakfast which was included as I was out enjoying the nightlife, so cant comment on that but for what I paid the hotel was great value.

Have stayed at this hotel before but this was the first time in the summer and so it was brilliant being able to use the pool on the rooftop. Staff are friendly and breakfast is amazing. 20 minute walk to the centre or take bus opposite hotel for 1.20 euro to centre. Excellent value for money hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Expo Valencia. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful and the rooms were immaculate. The breakfast buffet was outstanding- it became the main meal of the day! The only criticism would be that there was no lounge in which to relax, and the terrace was closed even though the weather was in the mid 20s. I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Valencia. The beds were comfortable, rooms spacious and the cleaners were wonderful- very professional. I rated this a little lower as there was a lack of public space to relax. The reception and restaurant staff were always friendly and helpful, even when dealing with difficult guests.
It was just a short walk to the river, very near the metro and ten minutes walk to the Barrio de Carmen, where all the action happens at night. At times I was walking on my own at night and always felt safe. Good bus and metro routes were available nearby, but actually we walked everywhere. Very convenient by metro to the airport. I rated this as good, because I did not actually try the restaurant The breakfast was outstanding though- I think I can say the best I have ever had at a hotel. I especially liked the wonderful fresh coffee, and the local fresh produce used. The cleaners were consistently excellent, and I had no worries about the security of the room in their hands. THere could have been a little more information readily available at the front desk, but any questions we had were always answered. I am not aware of any entertainment provided, but that is fine by me! This was the main lack of the hotel, but it is in a business district, so space is at a premium. I felt the service provided all round was at a higher level than would be expected for the price

Hotel is ideally located for valencia city centre and beach. Great public transport and metro bus 105 from outside airport departures stops right outside hotel (1.15 Euros). Hotel lacks any internal noise insulation and we found it to be quite noisy in the early evening and mornings. Is on very busy 8 lane road so windows cannot be opened due to noise but has air con. There are better more sophisticated hotels in area for similar price. Wouldn't stay again due to noise.

This hotel proved ideal for our weekend break and excellent value for money - the room was fine, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The buffet breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice. Also the hotel is ideally situated for public transport and taxis. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Expo Hotel.
