Built in 1890 and since renovated this beachfront hotel has its rooms spread over 2 adjacent buildings, each with 4 floors. The facilities are adequate but minimal and are usual for a hotel of this calibre. The rooms prove comfortable, of a easonable size and accommodating.

The beach, bars, restaurants and supermarkets were all minutes away, the taxi rank and bustop were also outside the Hotel if you wanted to explore the island further.
The busiest bars and clubs were 15-20 Minutes walk away, so not too intrusive.
The Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
The only downsides were the rooms and pool area were a little small and basic but clean and tidy. We are in our thirties and the youngest in the hotel, but this maybe because of the time of year as we went in early May. Think the hotel is suited to older couples, twentysomethings might find it ...

We paid for two triple rooms and when we arrived we had one two person room with a cot in it and an even smaller two person room with no cot. When we asked for one, we were told that we could not get one until around midnight, but actually we ended up with two beds for three people until 9:00 in the morning, when they came in with a crib instead of a cot. No AC and ants all over the floor.

We stayed bed and breakfast, the breakfasts were filling and plentiful.
