Spain’s largest island, Mallorca is blessed with the 14th-century Bellver Castle, soaring La Seu cathedral, pretty beaches and a forgiving Mediterranean climate. Rooms of all kinds—all of them worth chilling out in—can be found at HotelTravel.com.

Hotels range from budget hotels to luxury accommodation. Finding a hotel in which to stay, especially during the peak tourist season (July to August) can be a problem though, due to the country's popularity and therefore booking your hotel reservation in advance is advisable in the high season.

Mallorca, or Majorca, is one of Europe's favourite tourist destinations and somewhat a party island, with endless beaches, cafés, bars and discos in the main resorts. It is the largest of the four Balearic Islands (a Spanish autonomous region) lying off the east coast of the Spanish mainland. The beaches are striking, the climate pleasant, the tourist infrastructure well established and the Spanish culture alive and well.
Mallorca is one of Europe’s very best family destinations as it is loaded with fun attractions so that children don’t get bored. Apart from the numerous fantastic beaches, where standard activities are aplenty, there are water parks, theme parks, karting and more.
A traditional Spanish festival, known as a fiesta, is a must see even for those who are not into culture and almost any given month in Mallorca features a fun event of some sort. Many fiestas on the island hark back to the days of the Moors and agriculture while music festivals and boat rallies are also popular.
Although for most people Mallorca is all about the beach and nightlife, there are also some fascinating side attractions which warrant a look. Magaluf is the most popular and loudest resort on the island, while the likes of Cala d’Or on the east coast and Port de Sóller on the west are a lot more laid back. The capital, Palma, is also a big attraction day or night, with some great shopping and lots of quality sights.

Palma de Mallorca International Airport is one of the busiest airports in Spain (handling 20-plus million) and is the main gateway to Mallorca. Numerous domestic, EU and international flights hit the island daily. Most flights in the summer months are chartered, package holiday flights from the likes of the UK, Germany, Sweden and Holland.
