The location was excellent and the staff very efficient and helpful. We only had breakfast which was good. Our twin room had a small balcony with a side view of the sea front and Cathedral. The room was small and basic but clean. The bathroom was fairly spacious. It was value for money in a capital city where other hotels cost more money. Small room with a rather more spacious bathroom. The balcony was quite small too but we did have a side sea view. I expect the superior rooms are bigger. Small pool and sunbathing area. Bar was rather bland but prices were not too high. Choice of food for breakfast. Adequate hot range.

Pool small but adequate. At peak times it may not be big enough. Good sevice in the bar which was not too expensive. It could be made more inviting. Right on the front and a 10 or 15 minute walk to the old quarter. The airport (No 1 bus) stops right outside. They go every 15 minutes or so and are cheap. S o it makes getting to and from the airport easy. Also taxis were easy to flag down.

We believed we had booked a double bed room on floor 7 or above. Were given a dingy twin bed room on floor 8. Then given double bed room at back of floor 3 looking out on rubbish bins. Staff first class we enjoyed our stay.Next time we want a room overlooking marina!!

Although I was able to request a room with a sea view when I booked online it turns out there are no singe rooms with sea view, so had to upgrade (with12 euro a night supplement) to a double with sea view. Very good
But there are no non-smoing rooms - it took me 3 attempts to get a room which did not smell strongly of stale tobacco.
Buying dinner separately (I was on B&B) was expensive at 16 euros.

Maids could have been more efficient in rooms beds were not made each day and bathrooms could have been cleaned better and toitetries left each day which they weren't. Other than that the hotel was excellent the staff friendly and helpful a real family atmosphere. The food was adequate in quality and choice and the dining room spotless clean. The location was excellent ideal for exploring Palma. We will be returning again to this hotel we had a lovely holiday. Food in Bar Excellent. maid service could have been better. Very small pool for childrens but only my grandson in at the time so that didnt matter. Ideal for exploring Palma bus stops and taxi outside hotel. Taxi Rank outside hotel and bus stops and the tour bus just a few minutes walk.

The Costa Azul Hotel is ideally situated for access from both the motorway and airport, with only a short walk to the city shops and restaurants. The fantastic view overlooking the marina and the very frindly staff made our stay a very enjoyable one. Although we did not sample the evening dinner in the hotel, the choice and quality of the breakfast was extremely good. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again in the future.
