Malaga's location on Spain's south coast means its climate is influenced primarily by the Mediterranean. As a result, it enjoys pleasant weather for the greater part of the year and low levels of rainfall.
The fine Mediterranean weather makes golf a highly satisfying experience in Malaga and one that many holidaymakers with a penchant for the game come in search of. The Costa del Sol is brimming with great courses, while exclusive to the Malaga area is Parador Malaga de Golf and the Guadalhorce Golf Club. Green fees are reasonable and equipment is available for hire.
Discovered in 1951, the remains of this Roman theatre are located at the base of the hill on which La Alcazaba sits. With a width of 60 metres and a height of 19 metres, it's a fairly extensive structure and one that historians say was built in the first century AD, during the reign of Emperor Augustus.
The city can be reached by car from other Costa del Sol destinations with relative ease, with the E-15 and the N-340 motorways providing the main routes. Buses and trains to the city are also frequent from other major cities in the region.
Malaga is a holiday city and the locals are somewhat more relaxed than in inland destinations. However, issues such as family and religion are given great importance and should not be disrespected in any way by visitors. Business is conducted formally, as in other European countries.

This month's lucky winner is Mr. Laith Addabbas who lives in Jordan.
