It was a bit hard to find this hotel at first, the entrance of the hotel was actually located at a side street off Gran Via. But the hotel is right in the center of the city, an excellent starting point to take the subway or to go walking to the various points of interest.

Hotel is very nice and clean and the location is good. The staff does not seem to understand how some of the hotel benefits operate. My niece and I called upon landing at the airport to schedule the shuttle which is advertised on the hotel website. We were told to go and wait for it and it would have the hotel logo on the side. After 90 minutes we called back to be told that no shuttle existed. Everyone said it was someone else’s fault. The person at the desk when we checked in told me that it was not listed on the website. I showed him a copy of it to which he said "well, people change websites all the time." It was not a big problem but it would have been nice to have gotten correct information.
Second, the bed we had was the most miserable I have ever tried to sleep in. I was in Europe for 10 days on that trip and the 3 nights at this hotel were the worst I have ever experienced. When I asked to change rooms the staff could not figure out if a room would be open that I could move to.
Overall, the staff seems to be very incompetent. Wooden floors were very nice and the size was good. The bed was the most miserable I have ever slept in.
The staff gave me incorrect information regarding the shuttle from the airport. They also would not let me change rooms to have a better bed. People were checking out but they could not tell me if they would have a room that we could move to later in the day. The organization needs customer service training.

The pictures of the hotel that was shown online did not show an accurate picture of the hotel/room. The room was small with minimal amenities. The bar was expensive and the breakfast poor.

to Q No 1....our rooms were already renovated....but the are fixing now the 8. Floor so no late sleeping in the morning...workers start around 8.am...I recommend a lower floor around the second floor for the next weeks... I think that one is renovated too.

Well situated hotel with helpful staff. Room was a good size and kept very clean. Bar prices rather high and the bar closed very early. There was a major problem with breakfast. We discovered that the hot food ( bacon,eggs,sausages ) was stored overnight in the self serve containers in the breakfast room and re- heated each morning. This in my opinion is a health risk and none of us were prepared to eat food which had lain overnight in a hot room. Our breakfast was,therefore, limited to fruit and toast.
